Buttonholers!! The most difficult machine used to make jeans. The guy that works on my machines cringes when I mention buttonhole machines, especially Reece buttonhole machines. That is not a Reece though. 
(only machine I haven't bought yet)

The denim being cut.  The factory does have automated cutters, but our heavy stuff has to be done manually...

Faults in the denim are marked with white chalk so that they can be easily spotted and worked around..

A pile of discard on the floor

This leg found to have a fault in it after being cut out, so it is being used as a template to cut a good leg

Then Akashi, owner of the shirt workshop comes to pick us up and can't help marvelling at some UHR's
