Been a while since I've been able to go out thrifting since the baby was born. Found this gem yesterday. Vintage Carter's selvedge chore jacket. This one is really old. So stoked!

Golden Fleece by spiewak quilted work jacket

It's up for grabs dude. Size L.

Geez man that is some beautiful stuff! All of our thrift stores carry old off brand Chinese made crap. The thrill of the hunt though is still there.

Just scored these Irish Setter 877 boots. 9.5d. They are in great condition. Hardly any sole wear. The label and stamping dates them probably late 70's/early 80's.

Some better photos for any vintage red wing fans. These are up for grabs.

40's LL Bean half moon pocket hunting vest. Olive duck. White signature label.
Carter's Troy blanket lined chore

I'd say that is a fishing vest. The sheepskin patch is for putting flies in for easy and quick access and change of fly, the loop on the bottom right of the vest is for resting a rod butt in when standing in water and wanting to change a fly or other such thing that requires 2 hands…

Yep. Which reminds me, was admiring this recently.

My first vest which was a formative piece of clothing (I mentioned it in one of the threads here about our histories and what got us into clothes) was a denim vest, insulated and lined with flannel. It had a ridiculous number of pockets. I too am in the "less is more" camp these days. Only outerwear I wear regularly with more than three pockets is the IH M65.

Not thrifted, but pretty damn cheap from eBay.
