It could be your bodies reaction to ingesting something it is no longer used to. When I finished the Whole 30 I had some very strong allergic reactions to things which previously I eat without incident, I just looked on it as my bodies way of telling me that I should leave certain things alone, mainly processed take away food.

Nice pick up. It was done to allow more active threads on the front page, as apposed to a page of just stickies. Buying & Selling / Bumping Rules were also merged for the same reason, FYI.

(Items discovered was unstickied by mistake,  Deals, SALES, Codes, and Bargains… has been de-stickied correctly)

How does the Iron Heart compare with Real Mccoy's in terms of weight? The Real Mccoy's sweat fabric is around 12 oz per square yard.

I assume you talking about the JoeMcCoy Ballpark heavyweight sweater? There is the RMC Military sweater too which is around 10 oz, dont know which is better to "compare" to the IHSW-06 and how much oz IHSW-06 is..only owning some Ballpark stuff.

Ballpark fits tts imho, RMC Military size one up as its slimmer and shorter.

Ballpark is thick and heavy, soft inside, i wear mine even now at around 25 degrees Celsius. A nice crewneck sweater regardless from where is such a great piece to have

                      Cheers,
                      David

Strike Gold is super duper heavy.  I like the interior fleece of IH a lot though.

What do u guys think about Japanese farmer jackets?  I am developing an interest in owning one eventually.  I am in love with the indigo and fabric used in the vintage styles iv found like this one below.  Do u guys think its a bit much to wear one and are there sites that sell them cheaper than say the $500 iv seen for the vintage ones.

btw. how do you close the thing? a belt is the only possibility I see, right?
                              not that practical imo...

That particular one is actually well over 100 years old.  Its actually a lot longer in length than i would want.  As for  closing i would think belt made out of the same fabric.  The site were I found that sells fabric dating back over 100 yrs as well so u can make ur own if ur able to.  like this  http://www.kimonoboy.com/textiles/popup_folder2/kaya-8011.html?item=1688

I dunno about actually getting one but im def intrigued  :-\

                                P.S.  Visvim makes one

hmmm after that fitpic I might have to take back a bit of my previous post! 😛
I'd say if you can wear it, go for it…on the other hand I wouldn't want to shell out a small fortune for one!
just because it's a special piece that you can't wear everyday imo...

I think you may also get some of these from Kapital, you can contact bandanna almanac, he is the expert for those things I believe. maybe also for all the vintage questions you might have.

I like the indigo dyed hemp versions.  Its such a beautiful fabric up close especially the way it was done in the 1st pic i posted.  I have to agree with ya Finn,  $500 is def not gonna happen with me either but i would def pay a few hundred for a key piece like that.

Thanks a lot Davito.  Im gonna look at it now.  By the way I absolutely love Kapital's indigo stuff.  Take a look at Kapitals version on the right.  Seriously beautiful piece and maybe my favorite jacket.

The only real way to work that out is to measure a pair of your current jeans that fit you will the way we do:

                                            http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5135.0

And compare with the sizing charts published on every product page under the sizing tab.

BUT IH-634SR are extinct and there is only one pair of IH-666Sod left
