Today, Alex is putting slings under boats so they can be lifted onto larger vessels for onward shipping at Southampton Docks.

Southampton is where most of the cars coming into or leaving Britain happens.

tomorrow is the national day of switzerland so a big big party is planed in the evening!

it's called "Big Bang" (in Biel/Bienne), cuz there's going to be a huge firework at night…the most known pyrotechnist of switzerland, Toni Bussmann, is working his magic! the whole party is going to be across the shores of the lake...should be pretty cool, i hope!

the best thing is, it's right near the site i'm working on, so if things get worse i may just spend the nite in the school's classroom or in one of our construction trailers

Nocona. Nothing super fancy but handmade in Texas, lined, and I had em rubber soled and heels rebuilt recently for winter. I beat em mercilessly in field, farm, and city and the thick leather has yielded. They are slipper-like to wear now.

Wear is the best characteristic of a boot
