      Dr. Zhivago knows now, it was a bit traumatic at first for both of us. Giles can attest…

      Then she realized she could just up the spa treatments and now we are all good.

      Seriously though, 2nd what Chris said and discuss it if you even think it could be a issue because if you think I could be it probably is...

        In taking a shine to cowboy boots, nothing crazy flashy justvs good rugged versatile non pointed toe that is built to last. I really am relatively clueless in this area of footwear. Does anyone have suggestions for me to look at? Any info, help or whatever is appreciated

                  Mrs Snowy knows more or less. She's not had a concern with it, discretionary spending. That said, I spend 3-4x more than she does.

                                I realise that this is a highly subjective question, but how important is a good leather jacket to a mans wardrobe?

                                  As important as a denim shirt or/ and a good pair of boots… And no: I don't have a leather jacket cause I hate jackets in general, but I still reckon I should have a leather one...

                                    See, I agree with that totally. Interested to hear what others think too.

                                    Sub question, steerhide or horse hide? Got 2 jackets in mind and I wanted horse hide but actually prefer the steerhide jacket. Spent a few hours researching last night and just left myself confused  :-\

                                      If I could justify it, I'd strongly consider shearling, because I live in a very cold region.

                                      I like horsehide otherwise.

                                          I have no use for jackets, but I do think a good leather one is a great addition to a wardrobe.  I would go with ordinary cowhide, personally.  I don't see much practical benefit in horse hide.
