            made these paleo pancakes this morning (ate 2 plates)…dear lord 😘

            @Finn666:

            ok todd, here you go 🙂

            take 2 bananas and mash to puree. add 4 eggs, 2 tbs cinamon, 2 tbs ground flaxseed, 2 tbs ground almonds…blend and pour batter into hot and greased skillet! turn pancakes once little bubbles form. enjoy! 😉
            btw.!

            Good job.
            It's very difficult to make pancakes like this IME. They tend to burn and also fall apart. I've never managed to get them like in your pic.
            "ground flaxseed" would be "Leinsamen", no? Do you grind them yourself or can you get them prepackaged?
            I couldn't find any ground ones. They only had "geschrotete Leinsamen".
            They might make a difference. Otherwise my recipes have been the same. You can also add almond butter to the batter.

              well hello there!
              gonna describe this on englisch then. even though german would've been a tad easier for the both of us 🙂

              so yeah, I also took "geschrotete Leinsamen" for those you see in the pic! made another few a few days later, and this time i've grounded them…threw them a few rounds into the blender. outcome was even better I have to say!

              still need to find out where to get almond butter and such things! -.-

                                I do love the bullet proof coffee that much is true. I came across it while trying to figure out how to keep up my coffee addiction and be paleo. It's great but for day to day I started making lattes with coconut milk and almond milk. Seems to be working…

                                  Finn, almond butter is just "Mandelmus". You can get it in every bioshop.
                                  Delicious stuff but easy to overdo. Once the body switches from burning carbs to fat the fat is no problem. But nuts (also flax seeds) contain lots of phytate (phytic acid) which chelate (meaning bind) minerals, i.e. take it out of your body, which can lead to deficiency in these minerals like magnesium, zinc, calcium and iron. There is always something, isn't it?

                                  About the bulletproof coffee- has anyone looked into this? I remember the sellers claiming that the majority of normal coffee (beans) is contaminated with some kind of fungus which can lead to problems in the body. Of course their coffee is free of it. I cannot remember how they prevent it. But there seems to be something to that claim.
