after a solid week of wear post soak these may be my favorites now.  I like the fit more than the 634s which I thought would never happen.  Kudos Haraki, Giles, and Beatle.  These are legendary.

I think the 18oz denim may have a lot to do with it, as well. 21oz is fantastic, but there's just something about this 18oz that has me sold.

i agree.  the 18oz sits very differently than the 21oz.  rigid in exactly the right way.

Riff-  I think Giles is making a boner reference there.  Just a guess…

I was jesting with you Riff.  But I agree, it really is a great denim….It really does deserve to be more widely loved.  Having said that I have used 1.1 miles of it since about May of last year.....

Does anyone know if there is a stockists that would happen to have a size 33–possibly a 34-- from a previous batch? (i.e. pre-34 inch pre-soak inseam.)

Turn the jeans inside out, then machine wash, highest possible heat.  Follow with a machine dry, highest possible heat.  Be careful, since the method can leave weird fade lines and creases in your jeans.  Not sure if that will get you the reduction you're trying for, but good luck.

Interesting; my patches have survived it with no issues.  Maybe my washer and dryer only get sorta hot, not really hot?
