Assuming that the measurements of the SR and the RAWs are the same, the front rise is the same on the Vulcans

Rear rise is 0.5" shorter on the Vulcans than the SR

OK. My only gripe with these is that the secret pockets make it really fecking difficult to slide anything into the back pockets. Wallets, bits of paper etc. etc. just catch on the lip of the hidden compartments. I want to sew up the openings of the hidden ones on one side: specialist job or any alterations tailor will do?

Take the inner pockets out with a stitch-picker. That's what I did - it took about 15 mins, and now I've got a you-beaut set of coasters!

(Apologies to those who think this is sacrilege, but i really do love my Vulcans).

That was (from memory), the leather and/or the small knife pocket in the left hand front pocket

Inspired by RnR, I now have one big hidden pocket on the right side. IH-CCH in the front and cash in the back.

Mike, I've gotta admit I did feel a little guilty removing such a nice piece of selvedge (that had been constructed with such good intention). However, I felt the same as Unharmed: the inner pockets were in my way.

As Giles said, I think of it as customisation!
