Yeah - I've already made up my mind… If these go extinct, I'm copping immediately... If not: they'll be my next pair...

Very disciplined, Seul. Madam must be impressed with you.  😃

Hmmm, I forgot about your fixation with rise. The rise might be the only thing you don't like about the Vulcans - it's not what you'd call "low rise" at all, but is significantly lower than the 666XHS reference stick.

Anyway looks like you've made a decision for now…plenty of time to ponder this in the future.

damn damn damn…i really think these gonna be my next pair!  😠

for the guys that own both, the 634s(-raw) and these...would you say the topblock is exactly the same?

Assuming that the measurements of the SR and the RAWs are the same, the front rise is the same on the Vulcans

Rear rise is 0.5" shorter on the Vulcans than the SR

OK. My only gripe with these is that the secret pockets make it really fecking difficult to slide anything into the back pockets. Wallets, bits of paper etc. etc. just catch on the lip of the hidden compartments. I want to sew up the openings of the hidden ones on one side: specialist job or any alterations tailor will do?

Thanks, G. Just to re-iterate: these are mind-bendingly awesome apart from this one thing 🙂

Take the inner pockets out with a stitch-picker. That's what I did - it took about 15 mins, and now I've got a you-beaut set of coasters!

(Apologies to those who think this is sacrilege, but i really do love my Vulcans).

Oh. I thought that wasn't an option? Didn't someone (G?) say that you couldn't take them out without major damage? Am I mis-remembering?

That was (from memory), the leather and/or the small knife pocket in the left hand front pocket

Inspired by RnR, I now have one big hidden pocket on the right side. IH-CCH in the front and cash in the back.

I couldn't bring myself to remove selvedge from these jeans. I love these shits.
