Well that's what I'm telling myself since I can't convince my wife to let me get a pair.  But super exclusive limited pants with special arcs that don't need to be hemmed are too sexy to ignore.  I should just wear what I have and be happy.

There's definitely something seductive about the 25oz denim.

The 666XHS is not my most comfortable pair of jeans, but I just can't stop wearing them. Can't put my finger on why that is - perhaps the challenge of taming the beast?

It'll stack when it has to… I prefer it with a cuff as they tend to bulge in weird directions... And thàt doesn't go away

I would say cuff (or hem, even). I think stacking is a difficult thing to pull off for shorter guys because it can make your jeans look way too long and over-sized and therefore make the wearer look even shorter.  The double cuff you have there cleans up the silhouette of the cut and looks much better.
