It will, partially… You'll never completely tame these bastards... They're like a lion... Sure: they're all cute and fluffy in the beginning, and they still obey you when they're all grown up, but one tiny mistake and BAM!.. You're doomed to jacking off with your left hand...

thanks mate. really, this pair is so different from my 666S. both are stiff but the 666S soften by the 3rd wear… this bitch on the other hand, keeps giving me bruises all over my thighs and hips. my mates keep telling me, "why would you pay so much to torture yourself?!" but i always tell them they don't know the joy in wearing raw jeans and seeing it evolve day by day with every bits a memory/story to keep.

I have a few pairs of 14 and 15 oz raw denim. I ride a motorcycle and wanted the heaviest stuff I can find. Why do you recommend the lighter weight denim? Just curious to understand your reasoning. I like the straight cuts, but i also like the look of stacks. I find that with straight cuts I have to cuff the jeans and was looking for a tapered leg in the new fit. I would buy the 25 oz straight cuts, but they are out of my size.

Hopefully I can make up my mind and buy a pair before the end of the day.go with the 25oz. you will be amazed and in deep love. i currently am working on a pair of dc4002 and there my single favorite pair of jeans of all time, and i own 5 pair iron heart, somet 008, roys, flathead, and prps. nothing compairs to these, nothing even close

I'd like to describe it as being equal partners…
Anyhow... After not having worn them for a long time (it felt like that anyway), it's that time of year where temperatures plummet (end of the week it'll be 11 C° colder than it was yesterday), so they're gonna be worn 4-5 times/ week again til April/ May... Bit biased but imo they just keep getting more beautiful... Love the slooooowwww fades... Really need these to last a long arse time

There's definitely something seductive about the 25oz denim.
The 666XHS is not my most comfortable pair of jeans, but I just can't stop wearing them. Can't put my finger on why that is - perhaps the challenge of taming the beast?
