Leg Twist and Skew in Denim
-
Haraki believes it is due to the tensions created in the sewing process being working in opposing directions in the sewing process. For instance, the inner seam is sewn in one continuous seam starting at the cuff of one leg and going all the way around to the cuff of the other leg, so one leg is sewn upwards and the other leg sewn downwards.
Question. On Left Hand Twill fabric is there more twist in the right leg? Guess we'll find out soon….

Still no answer as to why this mainly/ only (?) happens to the left leg..
i guess it's cuz 90% of the denim, used on jeans, is RHT…which means that the denim on the left leg is going to twist!
with LHT it's the other way round and theirs twist in the right leg!... -
