Nice sounds like a fun project. I looked at the pic for a minute and had no guess at all what it was. There is a few locals around here who race older corollas on the ice, looks like a blast.  Hey, don't look a gift horse in a mouth, slow lift is better then no lift.

I would've cracked a long time ago but he's free to do what he wants. I do think that a good wash at this stage would really bring out the contrast and colours though.

thanks for the positive comments. i washed these maybe 4 months ago, and that was the second wash. taking care of and playing with 3 dogs gets everything dirty quickly. comparing how the denim was when new and how it is now, they are so much softer and pliable now - i doubt they'll stand on their own after a wash and hang dry; however, i will try it when they do get washed in the next month or so.

2 soaks -1 warm…but they were to loose after warm soak...than i given one hothot soak.....and 1 wash after few month of wear

....wear them 3-4 mon on throt....

i repair some stitches on these beast (crotch,buttonholes,frontpocketstiching....)by myself last month....few hours of stitching by hand:-/
some bloody fingers:-)

Take 5 in Hong Kong have recently updated their website and I see they have SRs available in 30,32,33 and 36. Not super cheap but if you're hunting for a pair, this might be useful to know. They ship internationally.
