A grinder is useful and I use one to grind beef/lamb for cottage/shepherds pie & lasagne etc, but for something like a burger you want decent surface area to the bits of meat.  A grinder tends to "modge" the meat together…...

yes we are very classy in non-gentrofied-brooklyn where the "normal" folks tend to steer clear from.
my daughter is great, she entertains all my bull$h!t    the boy & the wife are way too cool for the warm-ups
