I like knitwear design, and it fits perfectly, it's the colour I'm not keen on  Would be great in a very dark indigo blue oR black, even white? Is it nateral fibres, could it be dyed?

Thanks for the kind words.  The glasses are Ray Ban Clubmasters.  They're an old pair of my father's that he gave me a few years ago.  Really love em!

I think your problem is that you are setting the camera up for both focus and exposure when you are not in the frame, once you get into the frame, both get confused.  I would spend USD20 or so on a wireless remote and your pics will leap in quality. The G12 should provide stunning images:

MM try different settings. I don't have a remote either, and usually manage to take decent pics. Too much light in those 2 first pics. (and I'm totally n00b what comes to taking pics)
