i wear my xl over my ihd01od (large) and theres plenty of space. dont own a heavy flannel but would say theres plenty of room for one and i have builders forearms! plus, as its been said already, wool stretches. i'm also of the opinion that this shouldnt be worn too fitted, even when layering it keeps a perfect shape and fits well all over. its ironheart, its made properly!

Went ahead and wore this today during light rain shower with small gust.

Shirt totally owned the weather. Especially since their are hand pockets, this shirt is awesome.
