Ok, so I just went through the 634s thread and really liked the fit on simon626 and Lando and would very much like a similar fit out of a pair of jeans I'm going to wear everyday. Given that I found the top block in the IHxB01 size 31 to be too tight, how should I size these?

Edit: I'll just wait for the measurements to drop and go from there.

well, BB's have tighter top block than 634S…I'd say same size 634S should give you more room in top block area. 634S  rise is lower than in BB.

Layer 2 pairs of jeans? Am I reading that right? and 23 and 25oz jeans no less?

Jeans layering is the natural development for anyone who likes to layer shirts, but who over time starts to find this trivial.

Besides, I have 6oz legs, so I need all the stiffness I can get from denim in order to not fall over.

Sizing post soak on the waist 33 sample.  I suspect there is a little more shrinkage to go….
