^^^^Very true, Finn. This jacket is already beastly. Though earlier in the thread, people were talking about waterproofing it and methods of doing so. So if they do decide to take the leap…

It could potentially be THE outerwear of the season.. ???

i think hitting it with waterproof spray should do the trick as well (maybe not that well as waxing it, but you won't fuck up the original look of it at all)…

I just test ran my waterproofing spray on my Ebbets jacket…...half the can gone already  ???

Waterproofing

I used this on my Ebbets, which is a light cotton/poly mix shell.

Used half a can, and my Ebbets now appears to be completely waterproof, and the can of spray was only £8.49 from ebay.

It's usually used on camping equipment, and from the websites and forums which I looked through, it generally seems to last about a year, which isn't too bad for the price and how easy it was to do.
