IH-666-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Good fit, Matt, watch out for baby sick on your 666s

I feel like I'm wearing a saddle. This is what horses feel like before they are broken. Does that mean we really don't break these in, rather, they break us in?!?! I haven't felt this used since college.
Quickly becoming one of my fav posters…
Great fit and congrats on the wee'un!..

So there's snow in the forecast for Northeast US this weekend??? You guys ready for some blue tinged snow angels? Just in time for Halloween… that's not right.
Ten days of daily wear (prolonged by long nights w/ the baby) and they feel like pants now as opposed to an iron maiden. They really make my legs happy.

I've got a 33 in the OD and a 30 in the VMC/XHS. The OD I use a belt with now due to some stretching and the VMC/XHS fit fine without.
Hope this helps.

Nice fit!!!

Either that or a 31. The 30 will be pretty tight to start with. Anyone out there got direct experience of both cuts?
I went up one from the S (31) on the OD (32) and got 31 in the XHS. Both were tighter than the XHS, but the XHS might have more give to them than originally thought. Tag for tag I think the XHS fits more like an SBG BB with a lower rise than the 666.

Just my opinion collected from months of independently comparing sizing measurements of the things I want:
Do not trust Self Edge's measurements!
For one thing, look how they measure the shoulders on shirts: over the collar on the front side! That's why all their numbers for shirts are just flat wrong. And apparently they don't care, since they haven't changed.
It is likely that the same sloppiness applies for their measurements of the jeans. They are probably not lining up the front and back waistband so they are parallel.
I bought a pair of jeans and asked to have them hemmed. They sent them to me untouched. I sent them back and asked for 34.25". They sent them back to me with one leg 34.5 and the other 34.6.
That's why I just go with Giles. Edit: And jacoavlu.
