IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION

@Brandrea hey buddy ! I bought this jacket in 2018 while in the UK for a few days during a longer trip. It was one of two samples they had in Gosport. I was immediately impressed by the softness/suppleness of the leather and no shininess at all. Break in for this ‘olive leaf tanned’ leather is virtually none.
I live in a very warm climate, so over the 7 years I’ve had it, I probably wore it between 50-70 times. What you see in the pic is a never treated 7 year old jacket. Only care I’ve given it, is a light brushing and leave it hanging out in the sun once a year.
I also own the IHJ-35, and that leather is VERY different to this one (in case you know/felt/tried) that one. The SB is a very heavy but a super soft leather. You ought to try one out. I very much doubt you’d be dissapointed. -

I have a jacket being made by Good Wear Leather at the moment so I’m anxious to receive it before committing to another.
I have a Single Rider jacket from The Flat Head and the leather is beautiful, but I’m not 100% sure that Shinki horse hide is for me. I don’t wear it enough to feel comfortable in it yet lol.

No one tell my wife this, but I’m not a fan of Minnesota summers. 80 degrees and heavy jeans just don’t go well for me. So today like everyday I’m wearing my bangle, but everything else is in the closet wondering where I’ve been.

Pretty sure I had already taken my sleeping medicene when I wrote this, or was still affected by it this morning (it has an obscenely long half life). I definitely don’t remember writing it.
I’m happy to see that I spelt some fairly tricky vocab correctly. I also still think I’m funny. Also a good sign. Even of no one else does 🥲
