After 11 happy years at our Fitzrovia brick-and-mortar, we’re delighted to announce that our Old Burlington Street store is now open for business.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the menswear epicentre, Savile Row, our new home at 11-12 Old Burlington Street brings you the same curated selection of heritage-forward staples in a beautiful new space.

The new store boasts three times the square footage of our beloved Fitzrovia shop, giving us an expanded canvas to showcase our selection of selvedge denim jeans, handmade leather jackets, and bench-crafted boots.

We’ve poured our heart and soul into this space to ensure you have the best possible experience. Woodwork, metalwork, and joinery are all done by our friends at Johnson Bespoke. Their small, dedicated team in Hastings is responsible for the rails, shelves, and display cabinets you’ve likely seen in our original London and Manchester stores. They’ve gone all-out to produce beautiful shop fittings rendered in hand-worked iron and solid French walnut.

Our generous sofa is handmade in Devon, along with our fitting room benches, and our sound system hails from Glasgow’s Fyne Audio. Our full-length triptych mirror presents an impressive centrepiece that grants you a 360-degree view of your jeans to help you lock in the perfect fit.

We also enlisted Ash and Sarah of Brilliant Signs for their traditional, gold leaf window signage—just as we did back when we opened our first London store and subsequent Manchester store.

This move marks an exciting marriage of worlds: our edit of best-in-class, ready-to-wear goods paired with the Mayfair district’s legacy of fine, bespoke tailoring. We can’t wait to welcome you in and show you around.

Thanks to everyone that came last night. The Flat Head came all the way from Japan and customers and friends from all over the country. A few sore heads and red eyes in store today.

We have a customer loo in the new store and pride of place in there is an original promotional poster of the first album I ever bought at the age of 12. I was transfixed by Bowie from a young age but until Heroes it was more about his clothes than the music and nearly broke my neck toppling over in my young mother's platforms due so transfixed I was by his style. Then I got switched on to the music itself with Heroes. I have another of Debbie Harry but can't decide yet if I can let her go. If we have a crazy good first month she'll end up in there too.

We’re happy to announce that our new website is now up and running.

The update mostly improves navigation and back-end functionality, but there are a few exciting additions for customers too—namely, our new Editorial section.

The Editorial section is our dedicated space for everything from lookbooks to brand interviews, product breakdowns to styling tips, fit guides to fabric deep dives. It will be your one-stop shop for short reads and long-form pieces alike. Updated monthly. It’s been two years in the making, but the launch of the new site feels like the perfect time to bring it to you.

Customers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts. Simply hit ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and follow the instructions. You can now change currencies based on location so make sure you are viewing the correct currency for your shipping location before heading to checkout.

We’re Moving to Mayfair
And we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving to a new London store location at 11-12 Old Burlington Street.

Just off Savile Row in London’s historic Mayfair district, the new store will offer three times the floor space of our current Fitzrovia store, which we opened back in 2014. The build-out is underway, and we expect to be ready by late November. Stay tuned for our official opening date announcement.

In the meantime, we need to get our current stock in order for the move, so we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet with even more great, once-they’re-gone-they’re-gone pieces. Plus, we’ve applied further reductions on existing Sayonara Outlet items.

The Sayonara Outlet is our dedicated space for final sizes, one-off styles, and inter-seasonal pieces from our biggest brands and categories—from t-shirts to leather jackets, shirting to boots, knitwear to sunglasses. It’s made from a newly developed 11oz Japanese flannel—brushed twice on the inside, once on the outside. You’ll have a hard time finding a warmer, softer, more insulating heavyweight flannel. Cut to a flatteringly tailored silhouette and finished, as ever, with Permex snap buttons and classic Western pockets and front/rear yoke detailing.

Now fully restocked, Iron Heart’s IH-555s-21OD offers up the brand’s super slim fit in a 21oz, indigo-overdyed-black denim. It’s an intriguing middle ground between the usual indigo and black denim options - one that that will develop some exceptional character as both sets of dyes begin to fade.

Pure Blue Japan Natural Wash Denim Jeans
Indigo & Black // Straight & Relaxed Tapered

This 14oz selvedge is treated in-house to gently fast-forward the ageing process.
Initial fading is achieved through laser processing, after which each pair is hand-finished to introduce subtle highs and lows in the fabric.

Classic signs of wear are carefully recreated—light whiskering and honeycombs, along with nuanced roping at the hem and train tracking along the outseam. Nothing overly distressed or dramatic, just a clean, even fade in a 14oz denim that already looks and feels broken in.

Available in indigo and black washes, both offered in Pure Blue Japan’s 003 Straight and 019 Relaxed Tapered fits.

Sulphur-Dyed Back Satin Trousers
Khaki Warp, Black Weft

A wide-cut, straight-leg trouser made from structured back satin.

Woven in Okayama from 100% cotton, this crepe-like back satin has more heft and texture than traditional satin. A sulphur-dyed khaki warp and a black weft create plenty of depth and dimension, while irregular yarns add horizontal texture that becomes more pronounced with time and wear.

This “piped straight” cut is based on PBJ’s 002 fit: a mid-to-high rise and a clean, generous straight leg from waist to hem.

Samurai Washi Denim
15oz, Indigo, Slim Straight, Washi-blended Warp

Samurai honour Japan’s rich artisanal heritage with 15oz selvedge denim that blends cotton with traditional Japanese Washi paper in the warp. Washi is more commonly used to make calligraphy paper, but here, it creates a textured and midweight denim with a soft, silk-like hand. Here in Samurai’s 710 fit: a mid-rise slim straight with classic, balanced proportions.

Samurai delivers a standout sashiko work shirt, hand-dyed with natural indigo to create a striking Kasuri stripe finish. The richly textured fabric blends deep indigo with lighter asagi and pale cyan tones, giving the shirt serious depth and character from day one—but that won’t stop it from ageing and fading beautifully with wear.

Back Satin Baker Pants

Samurai’s Baker Pant is a heavyweight tribute to the OG-107 Army fatigues worn by US forces from the ‘50s to the late ’80s. With a classic high-rise silhouette and a balanced fit, it offers ample room through the leg.

Made from 15oz selvedge back satin crepe, the sulphur-dyed fabric is designed to fade beautifully, delivering denim-like ageing as it breaks in.

Buco Civilian Collared Deck Jacket
Cotton Cord, Black

A pared-down, civvy spin on the mil-spec A2 Deck Jacket. This civilian collared A2 combines a durable cotton cord cloth outer with an extra plush, weather-resistant acrylic pile. The lining is a more accurate representation of the original A2, but The Real McCoy’s have gone the extra mile to create their own luxurious take on it. This fabric is made using a rare vintage knitting machine introduced in 1924 in Japan, carefully restored and modified by hand to create its unique texture. Hidden storm cuffs and a button-over storm flap are sure to keep the cold at bay.

The Flat Head '50s Type II Jacket
Shinki Horsehide, Black

This ’50s-style Type II is made from a 1.3mm Shinki teacore horsehide and finished with knife-pleat detailing, custom metal hardware, and contrast brown stitching. This is one very versatile leather jacket - all the classic ruggedness of a biker jacket, with the volume turned down a little.

Shinki Hikaku is the only tannery in the world dedicated exclusively to horsehide. Their custom tanning recipes produce deep, lustrous blacks that patina to warm vintage browns in high-wear spots.

'50s Type II Denim Jacket
14.5oz Indigo Selvedge

If a denim Type II is more your thing, we’ve got you covered. This 14.5oz indigo selvedge jacket keeps the classic detailing, but incorporates a few stylistic upgrades. The cut is more angular from shoulder to waist, and the body is slightly longer than the cropped, boxy original. Subtle tweaks that bring the fit right up to date.

The Flat Head’s heavyweight herringbone weave, rope-dyed indigo block check, and a double-brushed interior create a winter flannel to be reckoned with. Much like a good denim, the indigo dye will fade as it breaks in, giving the fabric even greater depth of character over the years.
