We are now open at 11-12 Old Burlington Street, London.

After 11 happy years at our Fitzrovia brick-and-mortar, we’re delighted to announce that our Old Burlington Street store is now open for business.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the menswear epicentre, Savile Row, our new home at 11-12 Old Burlington Street brings you the same curated selection of heritage-forward staples in a beautiful new space.

The new store boasts three times the square footage of our beloved Fitzrovia shop, giving us an expanded canvas to showcase our selection of selvedge denim jeans, handmade leather jackets, and bench-crafted boots.

We’ve poured our heart and soul into this space to ensure you have the best possible experience. Woodwork, metalwork, and joinery are all done by our friends at Johnson Bespoke. Their small, dedicated team in Hastings is responsible for the rails, shelves, and display cabinets you’ve likely seen in our original London and Manchester stores. They’ve gone all-out to produce beautiful shop fittings rendered in hand-worked iron and solid French walnut.

Our generous sofa is handmade in Devon, along with our fitting room benches, and our sound system hails from Glasgow’s Fyne Audio. Our full-length triptych mirror presents an impressive centrepiece that grants you a 360-degree view of your jeans to help you lock in the perfect fit.

We also enlisted Ash and Sarah of Brilliant Signs for their traditional, gold leaf window signage—just as we did back when we opened our first London store and subsequent Manchester store.

This move marks an exciting marriage of worlds: our edit of best-in-class, ready-to-wear goods paired with the Mayfair district’s legacy of fine, bespoke tailoring. We can’t wait to welcome you in and show you around.

Thanks to everyone that came last night. The Flat Head came all the way from Japan and customers and friends from all over the country. A few sore heads and red eyes in store today.

We have a customer loo in the new store and pride of place in there is an original promotional poster of the first album I ever bought at the age of 12. I was transfixed by Bowie from a young age but until Heroes it was more about his clothes than the music and nearly broke my neck toppling over in my young mother's platforms due so transfixed I was by his style. Then I got switched on to the music itself with Heroes. I have another of Debbie Harry but can't decide yet if I can let her go. If we have a crazy good first month she'll end up in there too.

We’re happy to announce that our new website is now up and running.

The update mostly improves navigation and back-end functionality, but there are a few exciting additions for customers too—namely, our new Editorial section.

The Editorial section is our dedicated space for everything from lookbooks to brand interviews, product breakdowns to styling tips, fit guides to fabric deep dives. It will be your one-stop shop for short reads and long-form pieces alike. Updated monthly. It’s been two years in the making, but the launch of the new site feels like the perfect time to bring it to you.

Customers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts. Simply hit ‘Forgot Your Password?’ and follow the instructions. You can now change currencies based on location so make sure you are viewing the correct currency for your shipping location before heading to checkout.

We have been working on this for some time now. More tweaks and improvements will be rolled out in the coming weeks so head online and let us know what you think.

We’re Moving to Mayfair
And we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving to a new London store location at 11-12 Old Burlington Street.

Just off Savile Row in London’s historic Mayfair district, the new store will offer three times the floor space of our current Fitzrovia store, which we opened back in 2014. The build-out is underway, and we expect to be ready by late November. Stay tuned for our official opening date announcement.

In the meantime, we need to get our current stock in order for the move, so we’ve updated our Sayonara Outlet with even more great, once-they’re-gone-they’re-gone pieces. Plus, we’ve applied further reductions on existing Sayonara Outlet items.

The Sayonara Outlet is our dedicated space for final sizes, one-off styles, and inter-seasonal pieces from our biggest brands and categories—from t-shirts to leather jackets, shirting to boots, knitwear to sunglasses. In some cases, it’s the only place to snag something truly rare before it’s gone forever.

@Mister_Brue Great spot. I love the Noguchi table and ordered it from the Aram Store even before we were certain we would secure this property. I reasoned that worse case scenario we'd have the table at home. But it now sits pride of place by the denim wall in our consultation area and looks great.

Pure Blue Japan
15oz, Black x Persimmon Extra Slub Selvedge Jeans

A striking evolution of the brand’s iconic extra-slub denim, the PER-EX is given a copper-hued twist thanks to a natural kakishibu (persimmon-dyed) weft. This creates an earthy, terracotta undertone beneath a sulphur-dyed black warp.

Samurai’s new herringbone twill work shirt is dyed using the traditional kasezome method - done in-house and entirely by hand. The result is a unique "asagi" indigo finish: a lighter, more mellow shade of indigo that pairs beautifully with the zig-zag texture of the twill weave. Rogue Territory x Rivet & Hide Lined Tan Ridgeline Supply Jacket

In celebration of our upcoming London store move, we’ve collaborated with our friends at Rogue Territory to release an exclusive lined version of the iconic Tan Ridgeline Supply Jacket.

Rogue Territory’s Waxed Tan Ridgeline Supply Jacket is a refined interpretation of the traditional trucker jacket. Its timeless, minimal design has made it a mainstay in our collection, not to mention a hit with our customers, for years. Double Helix "Classic 1930s" Jacket

The “Classic 1930s” from Japan’s Double Helix is a vintage-inspired half-belt sports jacket crafted from French horsehide suede. This month, we’ve put together a quick guide to one of our most fabled and famous premium leathers: Teacore.

Teacore leather refers to a hide that has been specially dyed with organic tannins to achieve a deep black surface with an earthy brown core. In fact, the word “teacore” is derived from the Japanese “茶芯” or “cha shin”—a direct reference to the brownish, tea-like hues that lie beneath the black.

It’s a leather used on several of our most popular jackets, from The Flat Head’s Shinki Horsehide Single and Double Riders to The Real McCoy’s period-accurate J-24 Buco.
