RE: Y'2 Leathers….
inspired by @pechelman and his amazing new jacket, I decided I definitely needed something cherry as well, so managed to track down this one - I love the colour, a deep, dark maroon/purple/red, maybe a little shinier than I am used too, but think it will age nicely!

RE: Y'2 Leathers….
i recently bought the IB-141 new, and also picked up an EB-140 second hand (although it was practically new) and i absolutely love the pair of them.
Both size 40, and i am usually a large in most iron heart shirts and jackets.I especially find the colour of both jackets really beautiful, the green one has some real depth to it that is hard to see in photos.
The Eb 140 is also a bit thicker/heavier than the IB141, so is better if its a bit colder outside with the indigo more of a lighter, everyday jacket -
RE: Y'2 Leathers….

RE: Ship John
@mecken88 I would absolutely love to get a kristofferson as it is right up my street, but to be honest with the ship John drops I have pretty much given up now as it seems impossible to ever actually purchase anything

@tvaillant75 sure, I am about 5 11” and around 185lbs at the moment

RE: Y'2 Leathers….
@tvaillant75 I am a size 42 in pretty much all the Y2 jackets I own…..I can get away with size 40s but definitely find the 42s just more comfortable. I have the Kakishibu chore in size 42 and it’s a good fit, but slightly tight when buttoned up, so I think I could have maybe even sized up to a 44 in that one, but the 42 is fine (as I wear it unbuttoned anyway) - sizing is quite tricky I find as it seems to depend upon the jacket style/how thick the leather is and the fact they shape out and tighten up a bit with wear - so personally I would recommend slightly bigger if in doubt

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
@Slash said in Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?:
Other colors of the 17oz duck pants.
I'd like a sand-ish light brown other than the already existing, but pretty sure other colors would sell nicelyyes! I would love some in dark grey - similar to the recent double fronted shorts

RE: Y'2 Leathers….
@uclabruin I have the shop Vancouver green version, and I have also tried the regular navy version (and they both fit the same).........they are very warm jackets though, so It depends upon where you live I suppose, but I have never needed more than a t-shirt underneath when wearing mine

RE: Y'2 Leathers….
@uclabruin I am a L in UHFs and personally I would say yes, go with a 42, especially if you want to layer

RE: WTB: IHJ-116-BLK
@mrebant thank you, but unfortunately the XL is just too big for me......but I appreciate the offer, all the best
-
RE: Y'2 Leathers….
@Buckeye obviously its all down to personal taste - but I love the colour variation of the hand dyed leather.....it just gives the jacket a bit of a worn in look straight away, plus it just looks good to me and is something a bit different to my other jackets

RE: Y'2 Leathers….
@nrtphotos I've got/had a few y2 jackets and personally I have found they end up fitting much better in the long run when they seem slightly oversized to begin with. They seem to shrink a little as they mould and shape to you - so (for me) if they fit perfectly right away I have found they tend to feel a little too restrictive later down the line.
I have the red chore jacket, and thought I had really messed up with the sizing as it just seemed too big at first. But now, after some wear, it fits really well......so it can be tricky to get right!

RE: Ship John
@chadstone30 yeah, this is my problem with Ship John too - I really love what make, but the way they do the product launches make it pretty much impossible to ever buy anything
