@Tago-Mago tomorrow morning. It should go well, I think. The surgeon is optimist and talking about a fairly routine repair, with a quick recovery of two or three weeks max. Perfect timing! I have a four-week sailing and grilled fish trip planned in the Adriatic islands starting in three weeks.

Bummer of all bummers today. Tomorrow the wife and I were headed to the UK from Texas. We were to spend two weeks driving around England and Scotland, including attending Silverstone GP and Goodwood. It was her birthday trip. Gosport was my one request and I was so excited! However, it seems as though I may have gotten a little TOO excited and had a heart attack this morning. According to my surgeon and wife it’s apparently “not a good idea” to fly across the globe and go exploring the day after a heart attack. Super lame.
