        Q. re: Snap Pimpage.

Is there any particular reason that one type of snap is pimpable, and not the other? I know that the pimpable snaps only require one part of the snap to be replaced with an alternative. Is it not possible to remove/replace both parts of the pimpable/non-pimpable snap? Thank you.

          Short answer.

No, because the snaps that we can pimp are "thin" fabric snaps and will not work on thick fabrics.  So replacing all 4 parts is not possible

          Long answer.

I guess we could find pimpable big snaps but H says he can't find any (which is the Japanese way of saying, I don't want to) and I have not got the time to source them…Actually, full disclosure, I can't be bothered....

Thank you for your quick response. I fully understand the short answer.

Re: Long answer. "I can't be arsed." Hahaha! Succint. My kinda response. Thank you.  😃

I thought "I can't be arsed" was a little blunt, but as you spotted, that's what I actually meant….

Can anyone enlighten me as to how the 17oz organic denim used in the 555N/ 634N etc breathes? Is it closer to the 18oz or the 21oz? What I'm really asking is will it work as a summer jean in a temperate/colder climate?

Does anyone know where I can get this MF button? I've tried MF but they don't have any. Cheers!

What Dr. Bronners soap do you guys use to wash your IH gear?  A google search shows many different soaps made by Dr. Bronner.

I'm washing my IH-816 duck canvas pants for the first time and I plan on using Dr. Bronners on it.

                              Thanks in advance.

Peppermint for it's minty freshness. 🙂 Though, all Dr.B is magical and good to use.

Looking for a good casual shoe for the warmer spring and  summer months that won't break the bank.

Already have desert boots and topsiders and plenty of sneakers, so looking for something new.

What advice do you guys have?

Can you get hold of the IH over-sized copper snaps? (As used on the 140). I would like them on my Indigo 33.
                                          Thanks.
