Tried that too, no answer. Left a message, no response.

is it possible to get a tailor to alter shirts that are too loose around the chest? anyone tried doing that on an IH shirt?

why not mate? it´s "just" a shirt like no others around, but i still think a decent tailor would know what to do!

is it gross that i chucked my 55s in the corner waiting to be washed as it was soaked in sweat after a rock concert only just to start wearing it again after 2 month because my 634s is need of a wash?

the 634s is now in that corner waiting to be washed….... i see a cycle starting 🙂

Oh it's gross alright. Not necessarily frowned upon though.

Just read the washing guide that has been posted, which is excellant, but there is no mention of how to care for the Melton wool shirts. Do I just treat it like a flannel or should I be more careful?

I loved my vintage one I sold a few months ago. Heavy as shit, but very warm. Just wasn't functional enough for me and took up too much space.

Dry clean, spot clean, or hand wash and dry by hand with a towel. Wool will shrink beyond recognition. Do NOT treat like flannel.

Thanks Lando, I think I'll dry clean then when required.

That is what I do. If cost is an issue you can always spot clean them and or hand wash. I have also asked G to update the Product Care Guidelines with a Wool section. Cheers

Just noticed this at work whilst filling the Wetrok (http://www.we-reiniging.nl/files/Image/Reinigingsmachines%20gebruikt/Wetrok1.JPG)…

I tried burning the snapped hem and bedding it into the hem but it apparently hasn't worked… Should I get these repaired asap, or any other tricks to enable me to wear them without causing any further damage?..

                                      Cheers.
