I have the natural Big Buck from the last run and do really love that, but some motorcycle riding, rain, and denim has put a ton of uneven wear into it.
Mind sharing some pictures?

@kbpisme there was never a previous natural big buck run. Just saying. Congrats on the black though!
Technically, there was. I did one about 15 years ago.....

Which is where we got the inspiration for the recent releases....

@kbpisme Thanks bro I was wondering how the new pale rider leather ages. I see what you mean about the variance in the patina. Its a cool piece

Hi everyone! Since I am finally able to fit a XXL comfortably I had to try the big buck. I was in the market for a leather shirt for years now, the OG pale rider convinced me that I need one but it had to be black! Thanks to @Shaun and @Freeman for finding one with slightly shorter sleeves! What do y'all think about the fit everyone? Shoulders and chest need to relax a bit but overall I am pretty happy and look forward to wearing this bad boy all the time

-
@FlavourFade , think you nailed it. Looks good!
-
@Twistlock @FlavourFade Agreed.
Looks great and happy to see it

-
@FlavourFade Looks perfect. One of the coolest Iron Heart products imo. (I don't have one, but maybe some day).
-
Me looking a the pockets lol.
-
Thanks everyone!! Girlfriend also approved the shirt

@indigostiff I actually measured the distance from the pit seam to the corner of the pocket thats closest to the seam and they are not 100% perfect but it's a difference of <0,5cm so doesn't bother me at all
-
@FlavourFade looks wicked! And perfect sleeves too. Excited to see how this fades and patina over time! Congrats!
-
Beautiful colour and craftsmanship
Got size XL which is my normal size in UHF
It sits close to the skin especially shoulders and arms
Next time I will probably get XXL

@mikewolf looks great!

@mikewolf that fit is spot on bro!

I'm just going to ask some advice here because I'm really torn about what to do here. I got my Big Buck a few weeks back and with it being so warm here in the North East U.S., there isn't a call to wear this until it cools off this fall. That said, I took it out and tried it on again the other day and felt that on the left side of the shirt, the hide felt much thinner than the right. That is to be expected when dealing with different parts of the animal, so I wasn't too stressed about it. But I did hold it up to the light to see the difference and I discovered that there was a hole in it. I contacted the staff at IH and they have been great. I spoke to James, who offered to send me a free return shipping label and full refund or if I wanted, he would reach out to Simmons Bilt to see if they would be open to a repair order. Ive yet to hear back, but just wanted to hear from some of you guys who have maybe had a similar defect and how you dealt with it. I really don't want to return the shirt since you never know if IH will even make another run of them, but also don't feel like I should just be happy with a shirt that, quite frankly, shouldn't have made it past quality control. Or at least that panel of hide. Thanks in advance. -For reference, the cut is about 1/4" long.

I would just return it if you aren't happy, them offering a return label and full-refund is expected from IHUK but also appreciated as they have excellent customer service
What are you going to do then? Either keep it or return it are your options like you said... Not sure what you're asking here.

@Animal-Chin when these shirts were originally released, it was stressed that they would have slight imperfections due to the nature of the hides, the way the animals lived (scarring), and the tanning process.
I understand your sentiment and concerns, but it is part of the process. It is a difficult concept to accept, but it does make the product unique with a story to tell.
The question is are you comfortable with that and willing to accept those imperfections.
The IHUK crew have given you a few outstanding options to consider, but ultimately the answer must come from you.
Personally, I have one of those from the initial release and accept it for what it is.
It’s really your call…

@goosehd I guess with the imperfections, I was more thinking of scarring imperfections in the hide....the actual hole threw me. Like I said, Im torn (pardon the pun!). I love the shirt, just wanted to reach out to the community and get your thoughts and if anyone else had a shirt with a similar defect and how it faired over time. Thats why this forum exists, right? I greatly appreciate your input and will will keep you updated!
