@mikemakuch71 It’s not that hard. After your initial hot soak or wash, your jeans will shrink 1 inch at the waist and thigh circumference. And 1.5 inches in the length.

So, if you want your inseam to be 32, just have them hemmed at 33.5.

@mikemakuch71 I'd just go no hem, I'm not a tall guy and I don't normally hem my jeans... I think that extra .5 will look good on a cuff 🙂

Ok guys, I need the knowledge of experts 🦉 🙏

Only 3 measurements are in question for me to know if I'm going to order a size 33 or 34: Waist, thigh and knee.

I would say my ideal measurements that have worked well on the 21oz + the 14oz (indigo but also Ib) are:
          Waist 34.2 - 34.6 (87-88 cm)
          Thigh: 12.4 - 12.6 (31.5 - 32 cm)
          Knee 8.0 - 8.2 (20.3 - 20.8 cm)

Considering the weight/heaviness of the 25oz, I'm strongly leaning for the size 34 (and ask to the crew to try to find me the smallest waist).
What do you all think ?
Do you think it's possible to get near my ideal measurements with a 1) 60 min hot soak + 2) immediate machine wash at 40°C normal cycle with agitation (1h) on a size 34 ?

I read the all thread and from what I remember this denim does not seem to shrink as much as people have sometimes wanted 😃

I'm not an heavy wearer at all so I'm afraid to take a too tight size, and to not wear it finally.
Moreover, I'm frequently yo-yo-ing with weight and easily can go from my actual 78kg to 74-75kg.
Not sure if this would impact negatively a too wide pair and if I need to take this into account

          Thx for reading !

@Slash my advice is to get the closest fit to your ideal out of the bag. When you wash them the first time, they will shrink and then stretch out to pre measurement with time and wear. Possibly a bit larger than out of the bag originally. Starting out with a pair slightly big to start with will leave you with a pair that will always be too big.

However with weight fluctuations, you may need that extra room. It’s a tough call.

Tough call it is, the thing is the waist will like you say probably stretch back out, but thigh won't much, nor will knee imo...

I'm afraid a 33 will bring me close to unwearable on thigh and knee, while it will probably get near very good on the waist 😕

              decisions, decisions...

@Slash if knees and thighs are a concern, then I would take the slightly larger size as you could always wear a belt when needed.

@Slash If they are anything like the regular XHS they will stretch back out and then some.
