@catdad1 Negative. Never ended up pimping any shirts with brass snaps, but thanks for the reminder

-
@jimcord yes, but no specific date at the moment
-
Thank you for the info

I was lucky enough to find one of these on Ebay. It has never been washed and only worn once, but the dude before me wore A LOT of perfume, so it honestly stinks. I have had it hanging outside, but I cant lose all the smell. Is it OK to wash it even though it has basically seen no wear so far? I know the guy before my soaked it once. Thanks!
-
@Accuria2 It will be totally fine!
Although you could go roll around in the mud in it first if you are concerned

I wash and tumble dry my IHSH-33 once a week. Sometimes more if my kid spits up on me ha. The shirt looks great and its getting really nice fading on the seams and amazing roping on the hems. I was comfortable forfeiting high-contrast fades on this one but I'm still seeing some honeycombing develop on the arm creases. These clothes are built to last! No need to baby them!

Thanks a lot for the advice! I washed it and can happily report that it came out in one piece. Still a bit of smell in it, but I am hoping it will go away with wear.

Ain't it funny how the highest quality made clothing on earth, at the very top of a category named "workwear," prized for it's ability to show distress and age, can handle the washing machine without falling apart? Who would've thought.

-
@Go-For-Chill Haha yep, but also very expensive for my budget, so wanna make sure I dont ruin it lol
-
405 days!

-
430 days!

Day 443, just washed it for the 6th time last week. Not sure if you can see a difference between these pictures and the pics from the last update, but in person this thing is shining.

@worn2fade very nice!

-
@goosehd thanks brother!

@worn2fade again, great example of how IH makes stuff that lasts a lifetime. I don't know how you make it to 70+ wears between washes but the shirt has probably much more weartime than most "normie denim shirts" ever get but still looks like it has so much life left
-
@FlavourFade thanks dude! It definitely has a bunch of life left. I’ve seen two tiny pinholes but nothing gnarly yet that needs repair.
This shirt didn’t see its first wash until day 150 so it’s pretty nuts. Lots of baking in the sun and deodorizing those first five months. I don’t think I’d do that again though.
Incase you’re curious:
First Wear Day: 02/17/2025
Soaks: 1 Washes: 6
Wash 1: 07/17/25 (Day 150)
Wash 2: 10/17/25 (Day 240)
Soapy Soak 1: 11/20/25 (Day 273)
Wash 3: 01/19/26 (Day 312)
Wash 4: 03/30/26 (Day 342)
Wash 5: 05/05/26 (Day 379)
Wash 6: 06/29/26 (Day 434)The times that the shirt was washed in close intervals is because I either stained it somehow or did something that made it stink/get really dirty (Offroad, camp, worked on my car for hours, etc.) I do try to hold off as long as possible though to retain indigo and keep the high contrast going.
Edit: also just to add this pic!
Definitely getting my monies worth. Down to $0.74 a wear at this point with 444 days of wear.

@worn2fade What app is that?!
