Hey all. Need to pick up a couple white tees. Thinking of trying the Samurai 2 pack…seems like a good value. I’ve tried the 3 sixteen two packs and like those, but find them a little on the tight side.

Any recs? Preferably something in stock atm at a US based retailer.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

I don’t know if they’re in stock anywhere but the first thing that comes to mind are the Whitesville 2-packs. I’ve never owned any but people seem to love them for being well made a good value

I have some of the 3sixteen Pima 2-packs and like them especially for summer. They’re lighter weight and cut looser

        Also I’m no help

@Mizmazzle the Pima ones are not 100% opaque just be aware but for layering they’re nice

I've had 3sixteen heavyweight 2pack tees for years, washed them a million times and still going strong. Longest running t-shirts I
ever owned. Would like to test out Samurai
                  though.

@Northman same. I do love my 3 sixteen heavies. But find them a bit too warm as undershirts when it’s not winter. Then I find them sort of too tight as stand alone tees when not layered.

Don't go for Whitesville 2-pack. I am using two of them and have an unopened 2pack that now Im not that motivated to use. They are so nice when unwashed, but the two I've been using for 1,5 years are the worst out of my T-shirts. The piling is terrible compared to my Merz b Schwanen, Iron Heart, Asket, and UES. All washed the same way.

@Mizmazzle I love my Glad Hand and co white t-shirt (it’s an off white which is what I like anyhow). Midweight/lightweight, smooth hand, with a bit of stretch which is nice for 100% cotton.

Love the cut and the neck hole is not too wide which is my t-shirt pet peeve.

Around $50 each from Snake Oil Provisions.

                                https://www.snakeoilprovisions.com/products/the-glad-hand-standard-t-shirt-white

                                They punch above their price.

Note: you have a particular taste, so I expect you to get these and hate them and blame me forever.

Check out lady white. They’re my favorite all round middle weight tees. Nice fit and they wear cool in the summer.

Interested in this as well. My favorites from back in the day were the Buck Mason slub tees, which I bought a bunch of when the US made ones were still $28 a piece. Don't know if they're worth the $48 a piece that they are now, though.

My biggest thing that I can't stand with tees are they are either too heavyweight and rigid (even after multiple washes) or the collar is too tight. I like a little bit of breathing room around my neck.

                                    Wants List:
                                    IHSH-20-Red, XL

I love these shirts, "Bayside USA". I've purchased from All American Clothing, but found this other link is cheaper for the same shirt. Not a 2 pack. ~$15 a shirt sometimes on sale for ~$10. 6.1oz cotton and have held up great over time and many washes. They are a little long, and shrink a little first wash. But if you like the length, you can't go wrong. I don't spend too much on Ts, because usually some sort of food or oil stain appears within a few years before they wear out.

I machine wash them - normal setting, warm water, low spin - and then line dry them. I haven’t noticed any significant shrinkage.
