Hitting the trails

New Year's eve was spent watching the Stranger Things conclusion with my family, in my new 33-T. Probably needs a steam.

Starting 2026 in my Iron Heart Sweat suit. Ridiculously comfortable!

Hope everyone has a happy new year!

@sabergirl Nice pic with your dog.

Happy New Year all!

Either the lens is cracked, or Billy Wizz has just run straight through me!?

Happy New Year!

Ai successfully removed the cars from this car park. Not sure about that generated shed? Portapot?
figured AI made sense to use for 2026's kickoff.

Happy 2026 all!

I just got this IHM37 in black. This N1 deck jacket is my first ever IH piece and it was a dozzy. It costed me almost $1000 but I believe it’s worth the price. It’s not super cold where I live but it’s cold enough where I can wear this jacket comfortably. However, with only a long sleeve tshirt underneath I sweat if I’m moving about outside.
When I took my 10yo son to the mall post Christmas I was literally about to die from the heat. I had to unzip/unbutton my the storm flap to allow some warm air to come out. What’s pretty awesome is that the lining inside the pockets are also alpaca lined which is really nice imo.

Happy new year IH gang, this is by far the best place on the internet IMO. I’m stoked to be part of this place. Here’s Couple snaps my wife took today heading back from the grocery store. -
@boots_4_me It works great for very cold weather, but you can easily overheat when moving in it in on cool days when moving around. In my northern state, I couldnt find the right balance with the N1 vest and had to move it in. It was either too hot or too cold to make it the right choice. Today was 8f and I wore my oiled N1 for a 3 mile snowy hike and was perfectly regulated throughout. The upper arms are the only place a bit of cold is felt in extreme weather. I hope you find your balance with this jacket.

Both Beau and Nola look happier with white fields than on green ones! -
@motojobobo they are. They spend at least half their day digging through the snow and eating grass. They are standing in 12” of snow there and still finding the search worth it.
