That is definitely the plan. The unknown variable at this point is availability of the individual items. Forget length and cloth, that may end up being the deciding factor. I've already spoken to Adam C and I'll just have to wait and see

I was going to resist the temptation to remark on two degrees being your favourite temp, at risk of being a bore. However, me and @Steve discuss this at length, so I can't let it go, that's lunacy

In the daytime, I find 12c to be the upper limit of being able to comfortably wear a heavy denim jacket on a brisk walk.

Below 5c I can comfortably wear a shirt/tee under the jacket without getting clammy, and 2c is the absolute sweet spot imo.

I just hate wearing only a t shirt, heavy clothing makes me feel confident and comfortable, which makes me associate cooler weather with feeling my very best.

@Jcaz6996 Ah yes we are talking about different types of summer, aren't we? Appalachia and the south USA gets so humid, muggy and hot during the summer. I think I would quite like UK summers if they are more mild.

I love every season.

Winter for the skiing, the beauty of snow, the heavy clothes, and the holidays.

Spring for the awakening of flora and fauna and the intermediate, comfortable temperatures.

Summer for pools, ponds, beaches, boating, biking, hiking, camping, live music outdoors, farmer’s markets, etc.

Autumn for the transitions such as leaves turning, moderate temperatures, and still some fun activities and opportunity to bust out heavier gear.

That said, I don’t live in the sweltering Deep South anymore where pollen, insects, humidity, and heat can make summers a bit less pleasant.

Enjoy it while you can, I’m afraid it’s going to get worse.
