@Giles only became aware of them in the mid 2000’s…
Good thing is that there are lots great, younger vineyards in Europe with decent bottles in the €10-20 price bracket.
The odd thing in the UK and Scotland is that I can’t find a decent wine shop or merchant - it’s terrible supermarket stuff or stiff-upper-lip, prestigious labels stuff only. Very little in between.

@FOXY wine society is good. St John do good wine, and they deliver. I have had some good, more modern wine from The Sourcing Table.

will check both - did Wine List (from 2020, not The Wine List website) a while back, but they went bust after a year or two...
