Mine arrived. I went for my normal UHF size. 1st impressions:

• Sleeves are fine
• Seems less boxy than I expected - length is good
• The collar does lie flat. Overanalyzing - I think its a somewhat odd shape now I own it.
• Love the pockets

• Buttons smaller than the regular N1.

Mine just arrived.... WOW... This could be the best shirt I own. The rolls at the bottom and cuffs are lovely. Worried about wearing it and ruining furniture though!

Mine just came through the door... Very very good, a few observations from a quick try on:

• Calling it off white is an understatement: next to some white paper its more cream to my eyes (in a good way).
• The fabric has a ton of flecks and detail that doesn't show on the photos especially on the inside which is softer without the texture.
• The red stitching on the inside is magnificent
• For a summer shirt its quite heavy. I mean, clearly its 9oz as the description says but somehow I imagined the fabric lighter - its robust and is going to be great for all year wear.

All this makes me wonder if the black is more interesting in real life too!!!

I love these little videos even when I am not interested in the product. Though I often find myself interested by the end!

Had these a month or so... Fast became daily drivers. I wasn't super excited when they arrived but ripped the tag be mistake as I pulled them on so had to keep & very glad I did.

• The fit is nice - starts v. slim but the fabric has give so winds up fitting very well
• On the fabric - initially didn't seem exciting but its great, good weight - not Wonderlooper heavy or anything but very nice
• There are plenty of nice details - like the pocket slits for example and the crotch triangle bits.

Would like to see them in more colours.

Wearing the UHF overshirt today (great) but find myself assuming that there are going to be pockets. A couple of pockets and an extra 0.5 inch to accommodate would be great - like an oversized UHF untucked. An Untucked+

Very late to the party but now a member of the 408 club. RnH (@Danny-RnH) had one in my size for aaagggeeesss and I just don't understand why nobody bought it so I had to clean that up for them. Think I prefer it to the (also awesome) 412...

Also new here. Came across Iron Heart due to the Iron Snail leaping around in the woods and my wallet hates me for it.

Fit Check & my entry into dirty mirror crew. Hard to photo black on this one so brightened.
Context:

• I take XXXL in Shirts and took an XXXXL here for length and so I can wear over a flannel / sweat.
• I think most people on here wear too tight. I am old and like comfort.

That said - its a little wider than I hoped.

Mine is in hand first thoughts:

• The colour is great - its not as orange as the photos (which also look great). Somehow richer.
• The fabric is lighter than I thought for 17oz but obviously great.
• Not sure if I ordered too large - I sized up to a SP Large it measures similar to a 3X UHF in every way except the length and waist so can't figure out why. MAYBE it just needs to soften and break in?
• Love pockets...

@stitchdown-shell Just bought my 1st pair (2030) - the feel of the leather is great but the smell... that is something else.

@jerkules Agreed. Had a couple of weights - both shrunk after hand washing (not ideal for a white T). Don't seem to like being stretched into shape which I would normally do - seem to lose shape. Urban Lad said similar on You Tube. Sticking to Wonderlooper / IH / Samurai / etc for now.

@americanathreads I love the brand. The IH of Ts - highly recommended and wearing one now (under the new green IH overshirt).

My point was just that the Jeanstore prices seem high but are seem about right (ish)compared to importing direct from Japan.

Personally I am not paying 600 for a brown sweat (particularly with the IH drops coming up) but I like that they offer this hyper niche stuff for those that want them (Niche heavy X Fox Fibre X Iron Mordant!). I did buy a Fox T and not found it in rotation.

Currently soaking mine - no indigo came out at all (its prewashed so perhaps not surprising). Its gonna be a bitch to dry today though in the cold. Skip the soak.

EDIT: Some indigo came out in the end. Soak optional
