@cyclops feel is definitely different. A bit coarser on the outside, not brushed on the inside. Its the same exact pattern from what I can tell otherwise..feels more like an outer layer. here's definitely room in your wardrobe for both

@SKT I feel like since they crammed AI into everything, the internet's really gone to shit...

I'm a 3 in my tricotine, XL in my IHSH-33, and Johnny Cash if that's any help to anyone. No UHF to compare to (yet, inbound) but going by measurements I should be an XL in that too.
I have a size 4 in another UES flannel that's much too large for my liking. The size charts may be weird because UES seem to have recently updated their sizing.

@hbg1 I've been fortunate enough to see Yob live a bunch of times. Always a great experience. First time I saw them was in maybe 2015, where I bought a vinyl pressing of Clearing the Path. My girlfriend (now wife) absconded with the record and got it signed by the band. Still the most prized record in my collection.
While I never met Mike in person, I've heard only good things about him... and a few years ago i came across this most wholesome interview.

RE: Wake Up and Coffeeposted in General Chat
@Jord it would be my pleasure mate. truth be told I think i take this whole coffee thing a bit too far sometimes
Sometimes, it feels more like an experiment in a lab.. which can be tedious before I even had the first cup..Like, where I live we have stupidly hard water, which notoriously mutes flavour nuances in good coffee. So I make my own from distilled water by adding certain minerals back in. Its totally over the top, and for the most part not really necessary, but still fun when you, like me, tend to obsess over details..

@Daniel-San Redcast still lists them as coming soon, nothing at DC4 or Statement Store yet
No idea who else carries UES in Europe

RE: Indigoferaposted in Other Brands and Shops
well, now you have me worried. I also have a Dollard in a different colourway, and one of the snaps has had a bit of wobble in it from day one, as if the rivet wasn't pressed all the way down..
on the other hand, i've had it for years and nothing happened so far, and i managed to poke a hole into it with the prong of my belt, so, not like i care that much

edit to add.. thats a really cool shirt! Indigofera usually make killer flannel patterns i think

I had this pendant made by a local goldsmith. Its a Roman denarii from ca. 180 a.d., struck with the face of emperor Marcus Aurelius on the front and an altar, eagle and the inscription CONSECRATIO on the reverse.

RE: The (Less intimidating) Watch Threadposted in Accessories

Kiger Milsub for today.
You may remember a few years back Kiger was in the watch news because Rolex tried to claim his trademark on the term Milsub, and failed. A real David vs Goliath story. I picked this watch up new from Mark Kiger directly off his Facebook page a few years before all that kerfuffle. I was a bit apprehensive at the time but Mark has an excellent reputation among the watch nerds I consider friends and I neednt have worried. Killer watch, great guy and story behind it.

RE: Show us your bootsposted in Footwear
Nothing to show from me, but I didn't find a "ask boot related questions" thread, so I figured this is as good a place as any to ask (if this is the wrong place, I apologize in advance to the mod who will have to move this post to the right place)..
Does anybody have experience with Bordon? I've seen a few very positive reviews, but would like to hear if anybody has first hand experience with them

@MSav32323 they order it for you, a few days later they will let you know it arrived. you can request photos (for a fee), consolidate multiple packages into one (if you ordered from more than one place, for a fee) and then have to select the onward shipping method. Its pretty straight forward once you've done it for the first time

RE: Redline Rally Y4posted in Heavy Weight Contests & Competitions

I've worn the 33-T every day in January except one, where I was sick as a dog and couldnt get myself to wear anything but sweats. Arm creases are settling in, but the only noteworthy place is the left inside cuff, where it probably rubs against the watch I usually wear.
Surprisingly, I managed to keep it clean enough that I didnt have to give it a wash yet, despite the best efforts of my one year old to the contrary...

RE: UES Clothing MFG .CO.posted in Other Brands and Shops
@Chibs i was thinking more about what you asked and what I wrote.. i have been after a Tellason Coverall for ages. I think that would rather take the same spot in the wardrobe as the Untucked indigo.
But yea, I can happily wear the same pair of jeans day in, day out. But a big part of the reason I reason why I signed up for Redline is to try to slow down on acquiring new (over)shirts

RE: UES Clothing MFG .CO.posted in Other Brands and Shops
i have the 189-BRN (the Unducked) and now the tricotine. I think the Untucked serves a totally different purpose, definitely more of an overshirt / cpo with the pockets, as well as the denim fabric. the tricotine is more of a flannel on steroids. Not as soft as flannel but how i would wear it.
I think they can both co-exist in the same wardrobe. At least that is what I am counting on, because the Untucked Indigo is a must buy for me.
