It’s always hard to imagine how a piece will feel if you haven’t experienced it before. I was lucky with the measurements and the fit was good. That together with all the other amazing properties of this CPO made it an all out 10/10 for me. And I know how much more I will adore it in 6 months.

Just over two weeks straight. One of my top 3 IH pieces as it stands now. The rainshower I found myself in a week ago made it mold even more I think.

@Bobcat-Sig I believe you made the right call. As you said, they’re not coming back.

If I were you I would hot soak for at least an hour with agitation every 15 minutes. Maybe even longer than one hour.
Then wash, 40C, low or no spin.
Hang dry until bone dry. Not in the sun.
(I would not tumble on first try, if it goes south you lost your only shot)

If the fit after that is right on, I would consider wearing them with a belt to mitigate that the waistband stretches back to raw measurements.

Got this in the mail today, great piece! More pliable and less stiff than I anticipated. Will be a layering piece for me, and that brings the question;
Have anyone waxed or oiled this? I have an older Filson waxed canvas that is great for moderate rainfall. Just a thought

First real wear today and more decent fit-pics.
Trying to wear it more buttoned up than not, I’m imagining that it will settle around my shoulders faster that way but who knows. I really dig the look and the feeling of body armor. Let’s hope those arms will soften up in a couple of months!

Honestly, couldn’t be more happy about the fit. This is XL with a slightly larger p2p. I’m 188cm and 92kg.

It is a bit snug around the elbow as @weftyarn mentioned, but I hope it will only get better down the road. Can’t wait to use this a ton!
