Foo fighters tour merch thin hoodie 2019
Have a great weekend!
11 wears today, so still a XHSib noob. Have to say they are starting to soften up a bit. And to my surprise a small amount of fading here and there already.
For reference I am 188cm and about 90kg. Tag 35 and just started using a belt because of stretch or weight loss. Or both.
Below 0 degrees C in the morning here in Sweden so still XHS-weather
Jacket is IHJ-86-BLK in XXL.
Cheers

14 days of wear, creases starting to form and a small amount of fade. Trying to hit at least 10000 steps a day and will continue to wear everyday until I can’t take the heat anymore.

A few more pics, really enjoy this jacket. Maybe 6-8 wears now.
For reference I am 188cm tall and about 90kg. This is size XXL (44).
T-shirt underneath today, feels as good closed as open. Jeans are 888 in XHSib.
Cheers!

As I said before. This is my first experience with IH and heavy selvedge denim. Almost looks fake these pics standing by themselves

First wear today, holy smokes they are stiff.
How would you guys say they fit?
For reference I’m 188, 90kg and this is tag 35.
Thanks!

21,5 days of UHR. Very interesting denim, I like it. Getting very warm now with days at or above 20 degrees C. If they don’t start to smell terrible I’m aiming at first real wash between 70-90 wears. I think.
Will try my best to carry my phone in backpocket or a bag, so the phone-fade will not get more prominent.

Not the best of photos, but the one I had time to take. I love this jacket and it is a part of me now. Very happy that I went with XXL (44) on this. It works with a hoodie underneath but I can feel it in the arms. With a T-shirt it is perfect closed but also works open.

Hi all, new member from Sweden here.
Been lurking for a bit and finally decided to join. Interested in heavyweight denim and just picked up my first pair of Iron Heart (IH-888-XHSib).
Looking forward to learning more and being part of the community.
@dwils thank you kindly!
I will say that I have extra room in the waist, and also around the top block. Pressure for me right now are my hip-bones.
I think the extra room is to my benefit with 25 oz. Will probably wear a belt further down the road.
Everyone is different in all measurements and it is my understanding that they slowly forms to the body. I hope they will fit you well!
I’m rarely in New York, but yesterday I was and I decided to go to the Self Edge store in lower Manhattan. Im glad I did!
First thing I see going through the door is that hoodie I wanted so bad. (Sold out on the website, and globally in my size). They only hade one, and it was in size L which happens to be my size. So sick! I was so happy that I also bought a pair of 888N in 17oz.
A picture with both on. I will wear these hard this summer

I figured I can post my measurements as well. This is what I got after soak in bathtub for one hour (start temp 38C) and 50 min wash at 40C gentle, no spin and drip dry.
Diff after soak and wash:
Waist: -1 cm (88 -> 86)
Front Rise: -1 cm
Rear Rise: -0,5 cm
Thigh: -0,5 cm (68 -> 67)
Knee: -0,7 cm (48 -> 46,6)
Hem: -0,5 cm (43 -> 42)
Inseam: -3,5 cm
Minus signs are measured according to IH method, within parentheses are the actual measurements from RAW to post soak and wash.
@Lowlander and @Tago-Mago, thank you for your insight. I will definitely read that part, thanks for the link.
@cyclops, it’s mostly lots of movement. I’m trying to get 10000 steps a day in them and sometimes it is more. Today I had a running competition so today I just have about 4000. Other than that it’s playing with the kids and preparation for an upcoming move. Lifting stuff, on the knees for assembling furniture etc. I have also cycled in them, but trying to avoid that because I don’t necessarily like the cycle-fade.
Oh another thread of things I like as much as IH
(still a forum-noob)
Today’s: Hawk Talon.
So, I took a leap of faith.
Story and question for the pros below.
Have been reading this thread a lot. I mean a lot. I think this shirt is one of the best looking shirts I have ever seen. I was very sad that I’ve missed the the restock because it happened before I knew what Iron heart was.
So, the search began. Sure I can be patient, sort of.. if that’s the only alternative and all other options are impossible.
I even used AI, and other different search techniques on the web to find a store with my size in stock.
Then, all of a sudden. There it was. In the Philippines of all places, at ”The Signet Store”. As a Northern European, it feels very far away. But as I mentioned, I really wanted the shirt.
So I went through this alternative way of ordering the shirt via email and PayPal, because I couldn’t provide any payment that their website accepted.
After payment was received it took almost a week. Then after a few pushes from me they shipped it. And it came with FedEx today! I was so excited!
When I opened the package something struck me. I wasn’t sure. Investigation began…
So, can you tell which shirt this is? And if, how?
I think I have figured it out.

Thank you @yannis!
I also want to say thank you to @Mizmazzle for tirelessly showing his progress on this jacket. Made my decision much easier. Will be the first time wearing something I XXL. Also thanks to Josh at Iron Heart UK for the actual measurements. Will post pictures next week.
@dwils Cool! Yeah, I don’t think I can keep my hands off them. Will probably try to wear as soon as possible. I went with 35, I hope my pair act as described, then it should be perfect. My first UHR
@dwils Tack! So is mine
Lucky dude!
Yeah, i saw them on the site, pure luck i was looking. 45 min before the drop. My heart can barely take this… xxl in black ordered. So pumped!
@dwils that’s awesome, really like having an iron-heart-breaking-in-period-friend
I’ve just worn my 888 4 days, and now had to leave them at home for a work trip. I can’t stand it for a 9 hour flight, but I really want to put them on again. However the back of my knee and my hips are thanking me for the paus
I think that the black jacket will complement the dark blue of the jeans nicely.
Thank you for the insight @Mizmazzle I will absolutely follow your advice.
