Wore mine a lot during fall/winter until very recently (because temps are higher here now), but this thing has not a single scratch yet

Btw...how often do you all wash your flannel/slubby shirts ?
I have been wearing this one as an over-shirt mostly currently, and it's not yet dirty at all (office job, worn 5 times max), so I'm leaning towards not washing too much, as I do with most clothes not needing it.
The fabric is merely touching my skin, BUT there is the collar off course

Would not want to end with an unrecoverable dirty collar.Happy sunday folks

@FlavourFade Great info, many thanks, but I guess I'll need to be carefull then with washing since I don"t want to loose sleeves length.
Liking this shirt more and more with wearing.

@FlavourFade hey man if you can be bothered...what were the "settings" of your warm wash ?
Did you loose much in Sleeves length ? I'd prefer not with my monkey arms
I'm in the same boat as you, shirt is slightly big. It fits with the style and I like it, but slightly fitter would perfect.

RE: Bronson Shop/Non-Stockposted in Other Brands and Shops
@NickD yeah if I had to keep one it would be my IH for me too !!

But I have a mild winter mostly here.
To come back to the new bronson @Chibs posted about, I was tempted since I find the cut really beautiful but....no lining in pockets maaan
IH has really killed it with this feature -
RE: Bronson Shop/Non-Stockposted in Other Brands and Shops
Lol reading this thread this morning just after I have picked up my t shirt for the day....
True that uniqlo or bronson will give you bang for your bucks (and I'm very confident with my 2 IH ones I've already worn and washed quite some times).
Still this industry is toying with us. The t-shirt I picked up this morning I bought in the mountain somewhere in Thailand for 4 euro, from a nice lady with a smile that said "man I'm ripping you off", and to this day not ONE unstitched seam, no color loss, nothing. Collar still intact.
Only the print has started to fade.
But I bought this t-shirt in 2015, and I probably washed it like 300 times. Normal wash 40°C no special care. -
RE: Bronson Shop/Non-Stockposted in Other Brands and Shops
@Chibs Could be nice, but I have become a bit suspicious of the Bronson sizing

Since my last post a bit above, I received the other size for the N1 (not this one) I did exchange, and although better, it still has arms length 1 full inch too short

But the jungle cloth exterior fabric I must say is really nice and sturdy, and it looks like about the same on the one here.
If you can get this proper sized, the price could be interesting for a 50/50 alpaca/wool blend.
One thing I have liked and where I think IH made a "wrong" choice for their N1 (imo off course), is that it has lining in the arms.
The IH Deck is top notch for me in all other aspects, but around 0°C, if I have not much layers, I start to feel the cold on the arms, and its noticeable especially because the rest of the jacket is so damn warm, with the pocket lined and all.

RE: IHT-1610L - 6.5oz Loopwheel Crew Neck T-Shirt with longer body - in 6 coloursposted in Cut & Sewn
I've been wearing this a lot since the cold days have arrived, and I must say that those are my best warm t-shirts. Wool might be slightly better for first layer in mid-season when you want to keep a better average temperature, but for winter I prefer those.
I've tried some Bronson "loopwheeled" to spare some cash for invisible layers, and although the weight seems there when you have it in hand, the IH really feels like they keep more the warm inside (or/and keep the cool out). Same with the IH hoodie btw compared to other brands.
I will wash them more regularly to see if they hold in time. I'll report in a year

Wow the whipcord one with alapca lining looks so juicy

So sad I only discovered IH in 2024
Thx for the thread digging, will search myself next time

Wool peacoat IH style

I've been recently slightly hooked by the style, and it being a military classic, it could be a nice addition to the line-up, no ?
Navy is classic, but a brown/beige could be very special

@Tago-Mago : ah ok thx
like I said I browsed rapidly through the pages.@goosehd : yeah I read this in a few posts on the forum. Please don't take my post as coming out of impatience. I was just trying to know if missing this release would mean waiting 2 years. Need to manage my own desires

RE: IH-555-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Slim Jeans - Indigo/Blackposted in Bottoms
Did I miss some messages while going (rapidly) back in time in this thread, or did the last restock on this one happen 2 years ago ? Is this the pace for this specific item ? I read a bit along about the production pace "issue" IH has, so I was wondering....because this one is clearly on my "I will one day want one" list

RE: IH-2526J - 17oz Duck Modified Type III - Brownposted in Jackets
@indigo_fades Hey man, I'm 180cm and at the time of the picture (see post 1091 of this thread) I was around 77kg I think, just for reference.
If you body type allows and if you like the style, you can take the size up to get a little more length. You need to think if you would layer this or not. With a T only my "solution" might not work for you.
For me it works since I have monkey arms and slightly broader shoulders for my body size, and also because I know I would wear this mostly mid-season with a sweatshirt under, which helps with the larger P2P that goes with the size up.
If you look the thread from the beginning, not everyone wears this in the (probably) intended "short type 3" style.
My 2 euro cents, hope this helps !

RE: IH-555S-SB - 21oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Cut Jeans - Superblack Non-Fadeposted in Bottoms
Started to wear this one on some cold days where I would be out all the time.
I was out yesterday for 2 hours, with some walking and some standing still, and it was about 0-2 C°.Off course if you don't move you'll eventually get cold at your legs at those temperatures, but while walking, there was a noticeable difference with the 14oz indigo I had been wearing for 3 months straight now. Until let's say 8 C°, the14oz and its admittedly tight weaving does a great job.
But for colder you need the heavy weight

RE: IH-721-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Slim Tapered Chinos - Khakiposted in Bottoms
@Adero Hey man, I'll try to help, but please understand this is my experience only, and you should treat an item of this price nicely imo

If you read 2 or 3 posts above, I asked if this could be shrunk because I did sized it too big, and the answer was that it would be difficult.
So I did try to wash at 30C and 40C with low spin (400) and the damn thing would effectively not move

I could only shrink it by putting it in the dryer at medium heat for 25 minutes (kids don"t do this at home !)
Long story short I think you're very safe at 30C or 40C !
Sorry @Giles , I forgot to report the data

For those interested, with the dryer, The item went from a size 35 to 34 only in waist and knee, and it lost 2 cm in the inseam.
All other measurements did not move at all.
Again be very careful ! Medium heat is not nothing and I did pull the item out of the dryer every 5 minutes from the 10th minute to measure it
Since I was in a public place (I don't own a dryer) I let you imagine how I did look... -
