@Heritage_Guy You need to figure out how to make a JRAD show work out! They're unreal.
Umphrey's Mcgee has been fun to listen to lately. Billy Strings is incredible and always in heavy rotation.

@Nik I have a little Konro, but it's not nearly as nice as yours. That's going to be a sweet little setup! Enjoy

@jkrogsgaard Keep an eye on Grailed and eBay as well. You never know what might show up there.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to buy some too. I just can’t make it fast enough

@worn2fade Oh.... the tool chest. Well, I started grad school and suddenly didn't have time for anything outside of school work.
Here are a couple of things I made recently:
I made two cutting boards that open up to reveal tools inside. One is made for cooking, and one is made for a picnic.

And lastly, I made this coffee table. The walnut top is 1.5" thick and tapers down to 5/8", and the bottom shelf is latticed leather. It's pinned with walnut dowels. The legs are maple with through-tenons that are wedged with walnut. I spent a lot of time getting that gentle curve on the table top just right.

Hey, @Warner just said on the EDLC group on Facebook in a short video that if you bought something recently before the prices went down and you overpaid by $300 or more compared to what the prices are today, you have 5 days (as of yesterday) to write them and ask for a refund.
Also, Josh asked that if anyone that's a member of that group and the IH forum sees his video, to share the message over here because he can't figure out how to login into the forum and needs help

@Tago-Mago I also wash my stuff when it's dirty. I was picturing someone wearing clothes to work, getting covered in mud (for example) while working, taking a picture that day covered in mud and posting pictures on the forum. I would hope after something like that, the user washes their clothes.

Here's one:
Dirty Denim/Duck Day (DDD): Show us your denim/duck that's absolutely trashed from working in a dirty environment

@Tago-Mago Ha! I guess we must seem insane to most people.
@Chibs totally fair!
@northsouthdenimguy Oooh. That's an interesting one. In my opinion, a CPO blurs the line of shirt and jacket. Still a shirt, but it's a shirt that wants to be a jacket. Or maybe a jacket that wants to be a shirt.

RE: Random Rantsposted in General Chat
I was wearing my Wabash western yesterday, and a couple of people said "nice jacket!" This is something that's been happening to me for years, and it always annoys me a little because it's not a jacket, it's just a shirt. Does this happen to anyone else? It's such a stupid thing to get annoyed about, but here we are

@Go-For-Chill Yes, the links are different. If I recall correctly, the curb links are bent and the Model 10 links are cast.

Just googled: "Body Chemistry (Sweat & Oils): Perspiration contains chlorides and sulfur-rich compounds that, combined with the skin’s acidity, accelerate tarnishing. Individuals with more acidic skin or high-sulfur diets (e.g., eating onions/garlic) may find their jewelry tarnishes faster."

@Chibs I live near the ocean and I don't have this problem.
