These were my first Iron Heart jeans. I don't track wears, but they've been machine-washed twice. The belt is from Hawkmoth Leather Company.

I had my sights on a Model 10. It was gonna be a stretch, but with the price increase, it’s now beyond my means (and common sense).

These will be my first 16 oz. Iron Heart jeans and the 36.5" inseam are perfect for my long legs! I didn't need another pair of jeans, but these were too perfect to pass up.

@seawolf Do you have a link to the video?
The argument that prices went up because of silver is unconvincing to me. The cost of everything is up, including silver. But I don’t think silver is the most important variable. I’d find it easier to accept if they stated that market pressures generally (i.e., labor, materials, insurance, taxes, etc.) are driving the cost increases.

RE: IH-526J-142ib - 14oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Indigo/Blackposted in Jackets
@Nostradamion I have the opposite problem, as I usually find the sleeves too short. I lose around .25” in sleeve length from creasing, depending on the fabric. Some successfully shrink their sleeves by washing on hot with high spin. Between that and asking for a shorter sleeve, I’m confident you’ll get something that makes you happy. If all else fails, some cuff their sleeves or get them tailored.
I’ve been looking to purchase a denim Iron Heart Type III jacket for about two years, but the sleeves have always been too short for me. I just purchased this jacket because the measurements are more ideal for me. I would recommend signing up for restocks, as most of Iron Heart’s jackets will probably have better measurements for your body. I embrace and appreciate the variance in sizing because it means more people can ultimately find their perfect fit, but it can require some extra patience.

@newtoiron It’s a Size A. Based on others’ photos, it’s smaller than I anticipated on my 19.5 cm wrist. But it's a good size, and I’m happy.

Anyone rocking a Shorty Chain? I saw @Anesthetist made a post in 2022 with his Shorty Chain, Army Navy Wallet, and Card Satchel. I'm interested in a similar set up and was wondering if anyone had feedback on theirs. I'm having trouble pulling the trigger.

Thank you, @Anesthetist. The Shorty appeals to me because of its subtlety relative to other GAH chains. I also considered the Model 22 Shorty, but it's more conspicuous to me. Plus, it costs more.
How do you like the Army Navy Wallet compared with the Satchel? The Army Navy is a touch longer than I prefer, but it seems ideal for hanging the Shorty. My concern with the Satchel is that the chain might not hang as well. Or it might be uncomfortable to sit on as there's more going on inside your pocket. Have either of those things been an issue for you?

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?posted in Future and Planned Products
@sabergirl Yes, post soak. For example, 888 UHRs are 36.5", but lose 2 inches after their first wash. Relatedly, most one-wash jeans are 35".

I'd like to see more 36"+ inseams in the smaller waist sizes. Shorter customers are already hemming their jeans, and the extra material is valuable for repairs/sewing projects. I'd purchase far more Iron Heart if that were the case. It's frustrating admiring denims like UHR and XHS that I literally cannot wear.
