@TheDukeOfDenim - so great to hear! Those guys are such pros - every one of them is at the top of their craft, and it’s quite a spectacle to see and hear that kind of precision and art come together. Really glad you enjoyed the show, and thanks for the report!

@TheDukeOfDenim - Wilco is one of the best live bands I've seen. Enjoy every second of it. You're in for a treat.

@Tago-Mago - digging Born to Kill a lot. Mike and the boys deserve a lot of credit for this one IMO. Not many bands can come back after this long of a hiatus. This album is excellent.

@SKT - no I passed on them. Trying to stay in the 990v6 and 992 miUSA lane.

RE: New Balanceposted in Footwear
@SKT - yea me too. That workwear brown with the grey really gets me. AB also has a way of blending colors that don't seem to go together but really work. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on the Digitalis Purpurea.

@Johnnyutah247 - nice pickup! I have that colorway of the v6 as well - bought it after the Carhartt version (another workwear variety), which I like just a bit better with a second grayish/sage color mixed in.
It's almost time for me to find another pair of 990v6 as several of mine are starting to wear out. It's great that places like StockX and eBay exist these days.

@Mizmazzle - nice! I need to start wearing mine more often. I’ve been reaching for the 21oz sashiko work shirt as those fades are starting to pop nicely. But it’s starting to heat up a bit so might need to transition.

@dwils - Nice! I got my eye on the 38.5 - which should get me close to 39.5 - which is what I need (in that range anyway).
Do we expect this denim to stretch an inch and shrink an inch similar to the 25 XHS?

Thanks @yannis - I was hoping someone would know without having to measure. Although to be sure I would obviously need to get off my arse.

I'm pretty good at math, but this SE vs IH measurement process chatter has me all twisted. Here's what I'm hoping someone can tell me - if SE says the waist is 38.5" in the 633, what does that translate to if IH was to measure the same pair? A larger measurement? By how much?
Next question - for the thigh and knee - same sort of deal? IH would be a larger measurement?
Appreciate the assist!

@SKT - Wow - huge Wilco fan here - very cool

RE: New Balanceposted in Footwear
@Matt - agree 992 a bit longer than 990v6. But I too enjoy the extra room with my 50+yo feets.

RE: New Balanceposted in Footwear
@AdamJ - yes miUSA are supposed to be higher quality...although the issues I've seen are on those versions too. Granted I wear the shit out of them. Bottom line - it's not gonna stop me from wearing NB. I dig the 990v6 and 992 miUSA waaay too much.
Hope you find a silhouette that you enjoy.

RE: New Balanceposted in Footwear
@AdamJ - on that note, I have also noticed a bit of sole separation on some of my 990v6 NB. Hope they aren't skimping on the glue these days, as I feel like NB is really starting to push up on Nike - although that's just an observation - no actual data to support that statement.

RE: New Balanceposted in Footwear
@Matt - atta boy! Hope you dig the bright orange as much as I do. True workwear colors here IMO.
I wear this pair quite often - as well as the recent purple/brown baklavas - starting to enjoy the 992 quite a bit.

RE: UES Clothing MFG .CO.posted in Other Brands and Shops
@SKT - coincidentally I picked up a couple long sleeve "T-shirts" from UES recently - one is purple that I sort of match with those kicks you're wearing. It's super slubby and quite nice. Thought about a purple hoody but the length measurements are a bit short for my liking.
How you digging those Baklavas?
