I somehow keep coming back to The Doors. They were a major influence during my late teens. The blues and the grooves, but also the atmosphere and—usually with a bit of neurotropic assistance—the psychedelia. Tonight, this one fits perfectly.

@Tago-Mago - digging Born to Kill a lot. Mike and the boys deserve a lot of credit for this one IMO. Not many bands can come back after this long of a hiatus. This album is excellent.

I’m gearing up for my first Wilco show at Thompson’s Point in Portland Maine this Sunday, Father’s Day, so I’ve been listening to a lot of Wilco and Jeff Tweedy solo. Pretty stoked, going to be a high of 70 degrees and the venue is right on the ocean, so I can rock my new IHSH-437-IND. Let’s Go!

@SKT Thank you, I sure will. And that’s so rad to hear. What a great parent. I used to do the same with my kids. I’m so beyond stoked for this show. Funny that it’s on Father’s Day too. My kids live out west in Oregon but I’ll be thinking of them.
