I lost “Cookie” last summer… miss him so much

Really enjoying the Lightweight N1… its still quite warm in Copenhagen, between four and eight degrees most days, a little cooler at night… I find wearing a Northsea clothing Submariner sweater underneath is perfect during these cool, damp days…

Up until a couple of years ago, most Royal Navy ships had a “Chinese laundry” I can’t remember serving on one that had a dry cleaning service… and our “ boats” didn’t have a laundry as such
I believe the laundry service is now Nepalese… still no dry cleaning 🫡
I tried on the medium and a large at my local stockist… I am 175cm tall and weigh 74kg. The large was okay with plenty of room for layering, but I have a lightweight version in medium that I can have a Submariner sweater on underneath and this works well. With the khaki I decided the medium was a better fit and tried on three different mediums to find the one with the most comfortable fit across the shoulders and chest, surprisingly quite a lot of difference between the three of the same size…
I were out yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours walking in temperatures just above freezing with just a T-shirt underneath and had to open the jacket for much of the time… I am really liking this jacket

I bought the Lightweight N1 in medium and considered swapping it for a large… but of course that’s just not possible as they sell out so quickly… I decided to keep the Lightweight and get more use in spring and Autumn here in Copenhagen.
I am going to my local shop on Tuesday to try the Khaki N1, looking at the sizing of the lightweight vs the standard shows that the large is probably my best bet, but who knows… the arm length of each is quite different on each version..

I have a local stockist, Brund in Copenhagen… do you know if your stockists will have them on the 11th or first on the 12th ??
Thanks
Received mine yesterday after a somewhat torturous ordeal with UPS Denmark
I were back and forth over medium or large.. went for the medium and it is definitely a “snug” fit… in two minds as to whether to try and exchange it for a large or keep the medium and add a standard N1 for winter use…
Length is perfect
Arm length is perfect, although I won’t be doing any “Friday curlz” as the upper arm is on the slim side for me
Chest, as mentioned is snug
Waist is fine
I’m 175 tall and weigh 74kg and have a 109cm (43”) chest
