@rovdjurstorget If you're going to be wearing layers under it, definitely take that into account. Sounds like the XL is the way to go based on what you tried on!
You were correct. It arrived and I'm very happy with the XL. Living in Sweden gives me no option but to always count on being able to layer my warmest sweaters. In this case even my thickest Peregrine Aran jumper. The sleeves were as I suspected an inch too long but they were easily cuffed inwards.
Love it.

Picked up 3XL few weeks ago and wore it almost daily since.

Never thought I’d actually have one of these but decided to splurge this year. So glad I did! This thing is amazing and very warm. Love how it looks a little different in color depending on the lighting. Also when I was checking out on IHUK it gave me the option of adding a paracord drawstring which was an awesome surprise. I had planned to add my own but apparently they are now offering it and it looks great! Thanks to the IHUK crew!

I bought this at my local retailer (Dutil) and was wondering if there’s a way I can get the OG drawstring for the hem from IHUK? Thanks!
-
@dnguyen I’m tagging IHUK @ShopatIronHeart but just to let you know that it’s just paracord.

I got a nice deal on a lightly used XL Khaki. Not sure if it was from this run but I suspect it was from the previous run. The fit is pretty much like the one I tried on at Self Edge. The sleeves are a bit long but workable. Almost considering taking it to a tailor to get them shortened. Has anyone done this to their jacket?
Also I noticed the jacket is missing the drawstring on the bottom. Is there a way I can get a replacement? Paracord or otherwise. @Bailey

@Skell6009 Hi, thanks for the message. I will send over an email to discuss how to obtain the Paracord.

Love my N1. Always looking for an Olive second hand. It's such a great jacket.

The weather in Copenhagen is finally dropping towards zero… really like this N1 in Khaki and just having a thin Cashmere T underneath is fine at temperatures hovering around zero

-
Gothenburg, Sweden: -6°C / 21°F. The ocean has turned to ice. I try my N1 for the first time. Layers: black thermal long sleeve, funnel neck sweater, N1 Deck in XL.
I think I’m glad I went one size up.

N1 vs Pecoat…
Over the past week or so I have used my N1 everyday… the temperature in Copenhagen hasn’t been above freezing, and on the days with considerable windchill I have found a flaw in the design of the N1. The front zipper/placket has zero insulation. Compared with the Peacoat and its overlapping double layer the N1 is nowhere near as insulating… I have even tried my Lightweight N1 with a thin merino/cashmere baselayer and Submariner sweater which actually keeps me warmer…
Anyone else have similar experiences ?

@MikeCD wore mine a couple of times recently (also in Copenhagen). For me the limitation in really cold conditions is not so much the zipper area, but the lack of length (and of a drawstring) and also the lack of a hood and option to "zip up" high over the chin... So: for days where I need a "real winter coat" I grab my other options that provide more protection..
