Starting to bring down my weight for the summer. Winter high was 198lbs, should be at 190lbs by next week. Keeping protein around 200g a day but lowering calories from 3000k to 2400k and experimenting with timing my carbohydrates around workouts. At almost 50 years old I’m finally realizing gains are made in the kitchen and on rest days.

I have two of the Merz B Schwanen SCT04 slub pima cotton tees. The length shrunk so much in the first cold wash they had to be relegated to pajama shirts. I don't recommend them.

@AdamJ said in Can i soak my 21/23oz UHR in the shower?:
You could, but they would be a royal pain in the ass to get off afterwards, speaking from experience. I would just do them in a sink or bucket to be honest
This made me chuckle. Wearing the UHR to shrink them sounds like a denim version of the Chinese finger trap.

3sixteen Pima are great for hot weather. If you want something mid weight the samurai tees are great, their cotton is next level soft

Just seeing this thread. A few months ago I went out to a really nice italian restaurant with my family. I had my N1, XHS, and black denim work shirt. The general manager came over to talk with us, he was wearing a wabash vest that was really faded. Enjoyed a few good minutes chatting about the brand with him.

Any chance we’ll see a restock on this one in the near future?

I have used a 4-way stretcher to build out length and width in my Red Wings and PF Flyers. Stretching didn't fundamentally reshape the toe box, but added 1/2 size to the overall length and width.

@wjw Enjoy, the first years of baseball are so fun and funny. Kids running everywhere and doing any random thing. We're gearing up for 8u baseball and t-ball softball in two weeks over here. I'm coaching both teams because its really hard for me to stay on the sidelines

@goosehd thanks! The first 200 or so activities were exclusively mountain and road biking when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. Then when I moved to the Midwest I still rode my bikes seasonally but added in a few hundred yoga sessions and walks to heal my back. The last 300 activities or so have been mostly weight training. I've been on Strava a little over 10 years now.

@goosehd you’re a smarter man than I. Keep up the good work

@goosehd you might do this already but make sure to wear a weight belt for heavy lifts. My spine and discs are totally worn down from years of heavy deadlifts and squats. If I knew then what I know now…

Between this release, the UHR, and XHSib it’s been an expensive month. But I’m glad this came out in time for summer

@worn2fade appreciate that man. I laid out
my most worn pairs tonight and they measure about 37.5-37.8” in the waist, so it seems like I’ll want to use those dimensions as a starting point. It’s a bit of an uno reverse from typical sanforized sizing but the size charts seem to suggest this is the right strategy. Thanks to you and others I think I’ve wrapped my brain around it
