@Aetas good eye. IH workshirts and color coordinated Rotrings. Two of my favorites

I’ve noticed that too. I do already own the 14 oz indigo and they are “pretty crispy” compared to the 21oz. I was hoping maybe the 14 OD would be the sweet spot in terms of lightweight but “softer” feeling. There isn’t a whole lot of info over on the product page for the 14 oz OD.
Not to get too off topic but I have the 14oz ib OD and they are soft soft soft. Very stubborn faders as someone correctly described them but soft and warm - the fabric is night and day from the 21oz and arguably just as warm. It’s a weird pair lol

that shoulder measurements

Yeah, same here. Shoulder and length are both short for my typical 4X preference
Nice looking shirt though!

I decided to pick this up last week and wow, this is a really interesting and unique piece. The fabric is way more substantial than I’d expected but I’m also not surprised. As others have shown with their initial wears, creasing is heavy on the arms which will look pretty cool with age.
I’ve been wearing it without an undershirt and I find it super comfortable despite how crispy the initial hand feels.

RE: IHSH-398-NAV - 11oz Corduroy Western Shirt - Navyposted in Shirting
I saw this piece and fell in love. An XXXL has been sitting for sale for months but I need a 4X, but the one western I have IHSH-431- Slubby brown, is too short on the body.
Thinking about releasing that one as this beauty looks a tad longer.

@GuyForget Whew talk about necro! Nice pull.
Good jacket too, man. That's a pretty amazing find! The reason I'm here though is for that shirt underneath! Is it the SDA 13oz Kakishibu? I've had my eye on that whole lineup (the 13 and 16oz pieces) for a while now. Love it.Back from the dead for sure!
And yes, good eye on the SDA shirt. It’s a unique piece imo in that it’s supposed to bring some “reverse” fades and get darker as it ages, we’ll see.

Bumping a 7+ year old thread to show off this amazing jacket I just got my hands on. Unworn and presumably stored away for years before getting to me today. Those arm creases are from just a day of my wear - I genuinely don’t think this was worn before by the seller!
So much to love about this piece that I didn’t even know I needed until it came up in my eBay feed.
The wool body lining, satin arm lining, the heavy YKK zipper and the knitted cuffs / collar are all really nice - stoked to find a “vintage” IH piece like this

@Northman Think of the sizes ordered and offered like a bell curve. Traditionally the majority of sizes ordered have been in the large and XL range with the xs’s and 4x’s being the least.
Truth be told, that up until a few ish years ago, there were no 4x’s. IHUK had to fight pretty hard to get them added to the releases.
Sp-Large Gang, unite!
Length has always been the tricky part for me (6’4) and hoping this jacket is long enough in 4x, understanding that it’s meant to be a somewhat shorter cut on the body length (I think?)

RE: Introduce Yourself Hereposted in Some Really Boring (but useful) and Some Really Interesting Stuff!
Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself to the community! Been wearing raw denim for 20 years but never found clothing that has captivated me like Iron Heart. Looking back, I don’t think I ever really felt like I fit into my clothes - I’m 6’4” with a long wingspan and the SP-Lg shirting has let me feel like I truly fit into my clothes for the first time in my life! Happy to be here
