Happy to be told I am miles off price-wise. Perhaps I paid too much!

IHW-04 Red Melton Wool Western CPO
This is a catch and release from me. I hoped it would fit, it doesn’t. It’s in magnificent condition, considering these are from 2012 this really can’t have been worn very much and stored well. I can see no marks on it, certainly no moth holes or the like.
Tag size Small
Measured the IH way:
Shoulder 45cm
Length 72.5cm
P2P 51.5cm
Waist 48cm
Opening 52cmPrice: £250 plus actual postage cost.
Happy to ship wherever but customs and import risks cannot be on me! Shipping from the UK.
Not sold in here but bought a few bits and have been on eBay for 21 years.

RE: Pets
Thought we were likely saying goodbye to Gus a few weeks ago (feat. my 33). He’s fine, I’m poor and this is him chilling completely better.

RE: IHW-04 - 2012 Melton Wool Shirt - Navy and Red
@seawolf I think so. It’s beautiful but even with the most optimistic of diets this won’t fit me. I took a punt and it was always going to be tight. I figured it was low risk because I’m certain someone here would be a very keen owner.

@Jett129 amazing! One of my favourite shows. I even own it on actual DVD!

@goosehd ah nice! He seems like an all round great dude. He played one of my all time favourite TV characters on Entourage.

Adam Goldberg. A known IH fan, having been a guest on the podcast. I was steered towards him today as I bought a shirt that he owned via Markkt where he had two drops.

RE: Iron Heart spotted on celebrities
I am watching episode one, and so far he has also made cereal in the pocket of his IH jeans, followed by some cold baked beans.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
I’ve come back with more pyjama ideas. Chambray for summer, UHF or the Kersey for winter.
I think the Kersey would be very well suited for loungewear generally. It’s wonderful and would make excellent shorts or trousers. Stretch is presumably a problem for tailor trousers but it’s such an incredible fabric!

RE: RRL
@Filson that jacket is incredible!
Thought I’d share the remaining RRL from my collection aside from tees.
This one is an eBay find for a steal. Wool, silk and cashmere. I don’t wear it much because I love it too much and it feels fairly delicate.
This western fits me absolutely perfectly, the platonic ideal fit for a shirt for me.
This jacket is really a statement. I wear it whenever I can. It’s the only item of clothing strangers have stopped me on the street about. 30th anniversary limited edition I believe. I bought this direct from RL and I want to be buried in it.
This is my latest purchase. 2015 Wool Reefer coat (longer than a pea). I got this on Vinted this week. I paid £60….

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
I am not a fan of the Rolex hype. I am a fan of green, and I am yet to find a watch that is as comfortable as a Submariner. Pélagos got close.
I love the invisible micro adjustment on the VC Overseas now. That’s on my list next. That or basically any Grand Seiko.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
I’ve been thinking about the things that would be missing for my entire lifestyle.
Some “swim” shorts that were built for lounging by the pool and bobbing to the swim up bar. Quick draining pockets, maybe a zipped pocket, but in a heavier fabric. Something cotton, something can can fade with less concern for swimming performance. There is nothing in the market I can find that hits the heritage style. Almost certainly doesn’t fit with what I know of IH so far.
Chambray pyjamas, popover style.
Main thing would be snaps or a closure on the bibs. I adore my new dungarees but constantly spill my belongings onto the ground.

@Danimal506 I will report back after 2 weeks in them on holiday. I think they could definitely solve that problem for you.
-
RE: BROTHERHOOD OF BIB
@Danimal506 yeah, really pleased with them so far. They are warmer though for sure. They stay on nicely, good for driving in too.
