RE: Your IH Denim Rotationposted in General Chat
Do....people have back ups of the same pair? Or is that kinda crazy given how long some of the jeans normally last due to rotation? Like i got the recent 888UHR but was wondering whether i should get the same pair again just in case? Or do i just have a undiagnosed mental illness?

I would say this denim stretches a bit and fast. When i first got it new i recall it measuring 15.5 inches (white tape) or there abouts for a 34 tag. But today its gone past that (yellow tape pic). And I have only worn it out really a few times if that. I honestly reckon maybe less than 5 times on.

@1WayTrip yeah i agree. I liked that they did it outside too as it contrasted and complimented the studio presentation. Brings to life the campaign which is nice

@eiderdown so its not an exact science, but then i would be asking myself whether after first soak and agitation, with some shrinkage whether i would fit into the smaller tag size, but knowing it will stretch back out. So it might go from 30.5 to say 30 then back to the original 30.50 or more after a few wears.
The larger tag size sounds like you will fit into it without issue but then need to think if you would be ok with it looser than the other tag.
At least that was my experience with the 666xhs. At that thickness and at the start when its a bit stiff, you need to make educated guesses as to what you think you can squeeze into and get away with without losing too many fingers trying to button up. I think if you can button up the top button then you are good.

Hey guys! Can i please get some advice? I did a hot soak (40 degrees plus) and cold wash no spin. The waist is good and comfortable, but i still have a bit of excess material in the crotch area and a few areas. (Apologies for the crotch shots)
Should i look to maybe do another wash maybe at 30 or 40 degrees? I realised i just selected the cold water setting on my washing machine instead of 30 or 40
and measuring the before and after specs i dont feel like enough shrink happened, just maybe the waist? So im a bit confused....anyhow any advice would be appreciated!

@RoxRocks86 thanks for this! Having lived in skinny/slim jeans forever i was a little unsure of my recent UHR 888 purchase. But you reminded me that its ok to have a slightly looser fit in the collection also! I now have front pockets i can actually use!

@RobbieZev also it helps measuring a pair of jeans you are comfy in, and then overlaying that with the specs of the pair of 634 that you have. Might give you more insights as to "where" its not working. You will probably need this in order to make a decision on future pairs that you buy anyway. So measure waist, thighs, knees, inseam and opening.
I was thinking with my pair i dont freely move to 90 degrees necessarily. I can do it but like for me thats not the measure. I can move and its all still within expectations of what i deem comfortable and mobile. So it all goes back to what you feel comfortable in and your expectations from previous jeans etc.
