Hey @ChrisC, i havent tried on this jacket before but a few people suggested to size down. I saw you normally have a 20inch shoulder in crew specs but you didnt have any issues with an XL at 18.9? Just thinking i might need to find my nearest store and try on first before pulling the trigger...

@goosehd yeah for sure! But i cant work out what it is thats changed, the cut just looks awesome. Its still new to me so whether its the 21oz denim or the slight tweaks, everything looks great to me. Super happy.

Mine arrived today. With the latest batch i think the thighs are slightly slimmer but it looks amazing. I probably just thought these were going to be the same as my other 888s but now just in 21oz, but honestly these have somehow exceeded my expectations completely. They are so so good and just perfect. Bravo!

@Dazzler1971 dont worry about the tag at all.

Measure the 888-OD the iron heart way first, then look at the chart to see where your measurements stack up.

I got the OD in tag 33, but with these im looking like tag 32, so tags doesnt matter. Just know what your actual measurements are to judge what to choose. If you fall in between, id suggest you contact iron heart for advice....some tags might have stock that come higher or lower in measurement that can come close to what you want and they will help/guide you

@geordieb74 i have an xxl overdye from the first batch so this may not be helpful as what is on their website is the 2nd run. And i didnt take down the original specs they provided.

Shoulders straight across is 20
Chest is 22 p2p

Is there a particular spec you care more about?

I must say i have left notes with them in the past for other orders and they are ok at helping out...

@Rustygate37 i did buy the large in red/rust but denimio had the size chart wrong so i had to return mine. Now im saving for iron heart flannels haha. It looks amazing though

The other one i missed out on is the full count flannels. They got snapped up too quickly. The blue/brown one and the ecru/yellow one....they looked nice....

@Brian i really want to go down to the store to try on stuff like IH's deck jackets but havent been able to. I think thats why sometimes a physical store is good.

@Rustygate37 yeah that makes sense. I am sadly 80 bucks away from VIP status too, spent way too much with them. The shirt looks amazing! I also heard that they will be stocking the 21oz 888s soon as well when it releases, so was holding out for that

Yeah i agree with Goosehd here. But only you can judge with the facts/info in front of you. Have a think and go with your gut so to speak. Think about the pros and cons, and whether the risk is worth the reward

What was your measurements of your old comfy 888XHS? How far apart is it to 34.7inches? And then weigh up what others have measured in terms of shrinkage of the waist and just do a bit of maths to see if its too much etc....

I just got my spare size 33 out of storage. It has shrunk down to 33inches after two washes (measured the IH way) from 33.8inches....

@Bobcat-Sig scroll up to see other peoples before and after measurements. I think that might be a good way to judge how much it shrinks in the waist to gauge whether that amount of shrinkage would work for you....i think look at post 600 etc

@AskAxel haha yeah you mentioned the UHR, would you say its similar? Im wearing my UHR and love it, though its starting to heat up here. Cant wait to see more fades....
