@hjl360 looking good! Congrats!
Was the seller gentle on the markup?
I paid an obscene premium for the SJ x Good Art Model 10 - AA with the three brass links, but I don't regret it.

I washed mine with the intention of wearing them while they dried, shrink-to-fit style. After I took them out of the washer I could barely turn them right-side-to. It was like wrestling a firehose. I abandoned any thought of attempting to put them on while wet. But you should go ahead and try it! It'll be a long time before you get a second chance at a new pair of 25 oz jeans!
I agree. The Wills pockets on my Wills are totally unusable for hand warming. They're strictly for carrying things. You can put your hands into them but your wrists are pinned up against your ribcage when you really want them down by your hips. They're not lined either, so they don't actually even keep your hands warm.
@Northman
I also hesitated, "do I really need a third Wills?" Luckily someone else saved me from pulling the trigger.
50 ounces of hot soak today. Then a cold wash for both.
I sized up to 34" on this pair of XHSib. My other XHSib pair is 33" but I kept them dry for years (not even a soak) because I didn't want the size to change at all. Do I dare put this up sized 34" HXSib pair in the dryer? I might try them on wet after the cold wash. If they're still roomy, maybe I'll toss them in the dryer.
I put fifteen wears in on the 33" XHS pair before soaking because I just couldn't wait to wear them. No noticable wear or fading on the outside, but the wear on the inside looks pretty cool.

I think of this jacket often. I have so many jackets. But this jacket, this would be the last jacket.
What's that golden dust on the belt loop?

I bought that pair (photos linked above) in 2021. Repaired them a bunch. Darned the frayed cuffs. Iron-ons inside the crotch. Darned the top of the right pocket bag to the denim because taking my phone in and out wore a hole in the top of the pocket bag. Which made the pocket shorter so I had to lengthen the right pocket because my phone was poking my femoral artery. Been a nice little project that only you folks on here would appreciate.
When I bought them I figured they'd always be readily available. After following this thread I see that's not the case, so I bought a backup pair because I'm a psycho.
When I do start on this pair I'm going to wash them first. The pair I posted pics of in the summer has only ever had one soak, which some would say is sub-optimal, because I'm afraid of shrinkage. Went a size up on this pair, which some would say is unwise, but, I'm going to do it anyway. Would be nice to have a pair I can throw in the machine any time without worrying.
Good looking out guys, thanks, I was able to snag the pair from ISP.
Dang. Missed out on size 34.
I'm bummed. I thought I could check the size chart this morning but the product page was taken down before 10:00 GMT.
Does anyone have dimensions for tag sizes 33 and 34 that they could post for me, please? In inches, preferably.
The one thing I would truly treasure is a little bit of a head start on the product releases. The pressure of trying to buy a coveted piece seconds after the page goes live is stressful. (I'm thinking here of The Extractor that I've been lusting after for literally two years.)
@T4920 Do you know the difference between Blattwerk and the original leather? I wouldn't mind an education on the difference between them if you do know.
No issue with that. Was inquiring because IHUK have committed to shipping as Trump Import Tariffs Paid. I guess I just wanted to confirm that IH Germany would also ship duty paid, but, the question is moot since the size I was interested in is now sold out. All good. Thank you for the assistance guys!
I also am interested in ordering this jacket. How do I order without the VAT, please?
Excellent point. Not releasing a size chart well ahead of a drop is a recipe for panic-buying the wrong size and being disappointed you spent hundreds on a product you can't use. Bad customer care.
Yet another good example of how @ShopatIronHeart do things the right way.
